Spirits of the Blades

Throughout time weapons of mysterious powers have been forged, brimming with powers of the elements, life, death, void, creation, ethereal and more. Many lost to time, destroyed, hidden or sealed away to keep out of the hands of those unworthy.

But all secrets end up discovered, no matter how well hidden or protected.

The art of forging spirit weapons has long been forgotten and many have tried to mimic what is known to create new ones but all end up in failure or causing a disaster of some kind.

Others spend their life times searching for the lost blades, pouring millions of dollars into it. All for a chance to become the wielder.

The blades themselves lay dormant waiting for their next master. And for those deemed worthy, their true form is revealed.

Who will it be.......

Depending on the spirit the pact rules, benefits and consequences will vary. But one thing is a constant the spirits are immoveable in their rules.

The pact is a way for the spirit to lend it's powers and abilities to the wielder. The aptitude of the wielder does come into play as well as their motivations, believes, nature, etc....

The pact is in a way a bond first built on the rules but later the stronger the bond the less the rules will shake the pact. It all depends on the wielder, their affinity with the spirit weapon and whether the spirit deems them worthy.

What will the next pact mean?

The end of a pact is a close on the agreement between the wielder and the spirit weapon.

There are many ways to end a pact, some differ depending on the weapon.

In most cases the wielder ends the pact, in rare cases the spirit weapon does. In those causes usually wielder has broken the rules or done something that displeases the spirit thus breaking the bond.
