In the flesh, Izzy is probably not what you imagine. Currently living in a mobile home on the outskirts of town, Izzy seems to be aimless and carefree - doing up old cars found at scrapyards and tapping away at schlocky romance novels on his laptop. But he's a principled and unyielding, once he hears of a scoop of corruption or deception in the upper levels of government he can't help but root it out and expose it to the world. Truth is something he values highly, and with bullheaded determination, and at great personal risk, he will dig it out. With a naturally good memory and the ability to disguise himself as an unassuming bird he's able to spy on his targets.
Izzy is a nomad by nature, and when he tires of a place or an article has flared up hotter than he can handle, he leaves with very little notice, even leaving his personal belongings behind. He'll set up anew, scour second-hand shops, repair and hoard until he makes a home once again.
