Mohini is of average height for a woman of her age, coming to a full length, from head to toe, of five foot and five inches. Her figure is a slender hourglass shape, meaning that her shoulders and hips are wider than her waist, giving her elegant looking curves that aren’t disproportionate to the rest of her body.

She is of a healthy and average weight too, weighing roughly nine stone and four pounds. Whilst her body does not retain a lot of fat, adding to her slender figure, none of her bones are prominently visible. Seeing as she takes good care of herself, her pale skin has a vibrant, hydrated and healthy glow to it.

The long locks of dark chocolate brown hair that Mohini possesses is probably her most complimented feature. It falls down to her mid spine in subtle but smooth waves. When she's out during the day, some natural highlights consisting of lighter browns can be seen shining in the sun's strong rays of light.

Then there are Mohini’s eyes, which are described as a soft hazel-green in colour. She has a kind and gentle gaze. Her vibrant orbs are often compared to jade in its natural form, complex and filled with numerous different shades of green when dug out of the ground.

Mohini is very proud of who she is and where she comes from, even if other people make it their business to tell her why she shouldn’t be. She’s the kind of person who won’t back down, who will stand her ground and fight for what she believes in, even if it ends up getting her into trouble more often than not.

She’s a loving and loyal friend and family member, willing to do whatever it takes to make sure the people she loves are safe and happy. However, this fondness and closeness she has with her closer connections does mean she has a lot more weaknesses to exploit than the average person does.

Furthermore, whilst respectful towards those ‘above’ her, Mohini can get a bit sassy when her patience is tested. She will act cautiously, but there are times where she might mutter something under her breath when she’s had enough of the behaviour of those around her, mocking them rather subtly.

⊱ Childhood

It was a cold winter’s night when Mohini made her entrance into this world. Her mother was in labour for a good seven hours, which funny enough was one hour for each older brother Mohini had waiting for her. She was the eighth and final child born to her parents, but their first and only daughter. Naturally, this made her older brothers rather protective over her. During the majority of her childhood years, she had them watching over her at all times, making sure she didn’t get hurt doing the simplest of things, like picking flowers or splashing in puddles.

As a young girl, she appreciated the quality time she got to spend with them. They would entertain her by playing whatever she asked them to play, ranging from simple games like hide and seek to far more complex imaginary adventures where each brother would be given a role to play in her detailed and in-depth stories. In fact, it was these very stories that would give her family an insight as to just how creative Mohini would grow up to be, not just with words but in everything she did. Whenever someone celebrated their birthday, she would create unique and wonderful gifts tailored to their interests.

But when Mohini was just ten years old, her father was almost fatally injured, forcing her older brothers to step up in order to take care of the family. Whilst her father did his best to help out at home, it was clear he wasn't as physically capable as he once was and this put a lot of pressure on Mohini and her mother. But the family pulled together and did it's best to make sure everyone was happy and healthy. It was tough at some points, and tensions were high on more than one occasion, but their devotion to one another ensured that they ended up making it out on the other side, stronger than ever.



⊱ Adulthood

But as she grew older, reaching her eighteenth year of life, different pressures started to press down on Mohini's shoulders. Most of her brothers had married and sired children of their own at this point. She had a whole litter of nieces and nephews to visit and spoil with gifts from their only doting aunt. But her parents were trying to encourage her to settle down and marry a nice young man so she could have her own children. Whilst she did eventually want that, she wanted to do much more with her life first, a notion that was not particular common amongst young women in her day.

Numerous suitors were presented to her, some in subtle ways...others, not so much. It started to put a strain between Mohini and her parents, who only wanted the best for her, but she believed she should be the person who decided what or who that was. Even her brothers started making suggestions and recommendations about who she should court, adding further stress and frustration to her plate. Eventually, keeping everything inside and bottling her emotions up led to Mohini becoming rather ill and collapsing rather unexpectedly, shocking her entire family.

During her recovery, an agreement was reached. Mohini would be allowed until her twentieth birthday to pursue whatever dreams or goals she wanted to strive towards, but as soon as she reached twenty her parents wanted her to start consider options for marriage. However, they would not make any suggestions or make any plans on her behalf. All they asked was that by the time she was twenty five, she would either be married or engaged. It seemed like a middle ground that both sides could accept. So now, Mohini is still being her own person, however she is upholding her end of the deal.
