    The Defiant Citizen are a group of young insurrectionalists and freedom fighters who yearn for a more sensible treatment of non-organics, robots and cyborgs. Originally starting as a subversive hub of restless teenagers, they eventually decided to take it upon themselves to change society. Yet through years of battles and raids, they were not privi to loss, and those who still survive have mostly disbanded as they try to find their place in their words. Even so, the bonds of brotherhood and freedom that held them together when their secret organization was at its peak are still strong as ever.

  • The solemn oath

    "I solemny swear and promise on my honor, on our code of conduct and on this artillery that might punish the fraud, to keep the secrets of our alliance at any cost, to not lie in written, painted, carved nor spoken word. I swear to protect my brethren with nothing short of my life, and run in their aid when circumstances require. I swear to uphold their safety ad the honor of themselves and all they held hear. And if I am found faulty of perjury I am glad that I may be destroyed in pieces and burned in a fire and my ashes scattered and my name cursed by my brethren for the eternity to come... may the values of friendship, loyalty and trust always bind my soul and enlighten my path."

    NOTE: although Cris remembers the oath to heart, there have been hints that it might have been a prank of Ariana on new affiliates, rather than an actual ritual. Cris, however, suspected that whoever told her that was pulling her leg, so to date it's still ambiguous whether the oath should be taken with a pinch of salt - or not.
