    Ashley Summers was a waitress when she met Bethany, and the two became close friends due to their shared interest in science and the supernatural. Despite having six older brothers and a father that wanted her to get into her sports, Ashley had her heart set on science. She graduated valedictorian at New Mercy Academy for Women and headed straight to MIT. She got an engineering degree and returned to New Mercy to create new machines to capture and record the paranormal.
