Logan Mu

Seventeen years ago, he was drafted for war.
Logan Mu was 23, working on some farm, and three years on HRT. That was when the war draft came. A war between two moons, and his homeland caught in the crossfire. He enlisted, hoping for a way out of his small town, and a broader reach for the opportunities afterwards. Eager-faced, prepared for war, ready for victory.
He was wrong.

Six years later, the war ended in defeat.
His arm amputated. His homeland taken, burned, destroyed. His company killed or captured. He returned as traumatized man, no more richer than before, and struggling with depression, . But he needed to survive, so he moved elsewhere.
He went to a foreign city, searching for a new home. But stable jobs were sparse, the cost of prosthetics maintenance was expensive, and the prices were too high to find another place. Veterans received little to no compensation for their efforts in the war. He took on odd jobs here and there until he scraped up enough.
He pooled his money for a ticket to another galaxy.

Desperate to make ends meet, he took his first bounty.
He found himself at the center of a metropolis in a small, rundown apartment, His lack of higher education and career experience prevented him from applying to jobs that could pay enough for rent. His luck came when he saw a flyer posted on a board, the image of a man’s face plastered on the screen. A reward was written beneath: 500 credits if caught. He was no stranger to odd jobs
So he took the chance.

One bounty became two, became ten.
And then it became his main source of income. His first few jobs were rough. He convinced himself that his duty was just, that his vigilantism benefited society. He was the reaper who culled the weeds. The man who caught bad men. The hero of a story.
But the more he took on the bounties, the less he believed in that lie. He was a murderer. A killer. Mortality was an every-other-day occurrence when he pulled the trigger or thrust his knife. He killed and collected coin. Sometimes he smuggled, or he stole. The dubious morality and implied criminality of his jobs no longer fazed him.

After a run-in with the Enforcers, he joined a bounty hunting guild.
It was called the Gando Guild, an organization designed to provide bounty hunters with additional support (mainly legal protection) and a wider reach to bounty opportunities. As part of his membership, he was required to give 15% of his income and meet a certain quota. He was assigned a squadron, the Wolf Pack, and a codename, Zeta Wolf.

He met Kashiz-nal through his squadron.
They frequently took on the same missions, gradually becoming closer and closer. Eventually, they started dating outside of bounty hunting. His relationship with Kashiz wasthe first one he had since being in the academy. Within a year, they got married. But the nature of their job made it difficult to maintain their marriage. Disagreements between the two propped up often, each one desiring the company of the other. The stress of their work and the strain it out on their relationship became too much. Kashiz left the guild, hoping he would follow. He did not.
A year later, they divorced.

He closed himself off, turning his movements mechanical.
Bounty hunting was another process. He became a machine himself.
