Lir Nta Koppa 's ruling family has been at war with the Talz for years. It has worn down Pantora's economy and killed many of its people. When they tried to lay claim to planet that their moon orbits, they found that the sentient species had gotten it's hands on more high tech weaponry than the Pantoran's had bargained for. The once primitive species had developed and returned their advances with open hostility - and war. Pantora is on the brink of collapse.
