They want me to be regal but ready, capable of proving myself in so many different categories it's hard to keep up. I want to make my family proud, but I can't turn a blind eye to the things are important to me either. That isn't who I am." Sent off by her Uncle to learn from the Queen of another Kingdom, as well as to find a potential suitor in order to form an alliance, a lot of pressure and responsibility rests on Catalina's shoulders. She wants to make her family proud and accomplish everything they hoped for, and more, but there are secrets waiting to be uncovered, secrets that might threaten those goals. She must learn the steps to the complicated dance that is life at court, balancing her duties and emotions which are constantly at war with one another. Sooner or later, one will outweigh the other and the scales will be tipped forever, leaving her to accept the consequences of her actions, and learn how to move forward following whatever transpires, as hard as that might be.

Having been raised amongst royalty, Catalina conducts herself in a polite and proper manner at all times. As her Uncle has said repeatedly, they all are responsible for upholding the image of the royal family. If she makes one mistake, then any scandal or ruin that befalls would be her fault. This has embedded a certain level of paranoia within her too. A fear of failure, almost. She carries herself as if she’s constantly walking on ice.

She is a kind and compassionate woman who can’t help herself if she sees someone in need. The desire to assist them in any way she can is very overwhelming, and sometimes this ends up putting her in harm’s way, something she seems a bit oblivious to until it's too late. Despite this, she continues to offer her services to them, regularly putting the needs of others before her own, even if she ends up getting in trouble for it.

She can be a bit naive and gullible. Not through any fault of her own, but her interactions with other people (outside of the royal family) has been somewhat limited. So she's not exactly used to dealing with important matters such as life in court, or how to talk to people outside of her small social circle. First impressions can leave her a little nervous, but once she finds her footing she can be quite the confident young woman.

In relation to this: Catalina is very driven when she has a goal in mind. Her determination to make people proud and uphold her familial duty means she's unlikely to give up or let anything stop her. Obstacles are challenges, nothing more. Especially when it comes to ensuring her people are happy and treated justly. When she sees people suffering, it only stokes the fire and makes her more determined to help.




Most would describe Catalina as the perfect depiction of royalty. She has very slim, feminine features and porcelain like skin that seems to lack any signs of markings or imperfections. Having a healthy glow about her shows her exposure to the finer things in life, such as food and living conditions. And she always seems to be dressed in the finest of clothings which have a very elegant and wealthy aesthetic about them.

Her hair is a beautiful shade of golden blonde that flows in soft, natural waves down to her mid back. When straightened however, or wet, it will reach all the way to the bottom of her spine. More often than not, Catalina prefers to wear it down as it is heavier when styled into some kind of bun or braid, which pulls uncomfortably on her scalp. Regardless, it is very healthy and shiny, clearly taken good care of.

Her eyes are described as being a shade similar to that of the ocean, particularly the same colour that borders the coast of her homeland. But the colour isn't what is most striking about her eyes: it's the kindness that resides inside of them. They say eyes are the windows into the soul, and that is very much the case for Catalina. From one look, you can tell exactly as to what kind of person she is: good, true and pure.

In terms of her stature, Catalina possesses the typical womanly features you might expect for someone of her race and age. Slender but alluring curves along her hips and waist, a prominant bust and rear but not excessively so, plump lips and a lack of body fat that makes her more alluring to the opposite gender. Her small and slim frame gives her a dainty and rather delicate look about her that men feel the need to protect.





Childhood • Born as the Niece to the current King of Veridia, Catalina did not have a huge amount of responsibility thrust upon her shoulders from a young age, but still had to learn everything she would need to know to become a ruler one day. It was likely, after all, she would be wedded off to the heir of a neighbouring Kingdom to form an alliance once she came of age. Most of her childhood considered of various lessons, most of which the young princess found rather boring and mentally taxing. On more than one age, Catalina snuck out of her classes in the pursuit of more enjoyable activities, such as chasing butterflies in the royal garden or stealing cake from the kitchen. Of course, her tutors would eventually find her and drag her back.

Teenage Years • Following a long talk from her Uncle, Catalina started to take her duties more seriously. She was told that eyes were always on the royal family and if a singular mistake was made, it could be very costly for them. So she powered through her lessons, studied as hard as she could and poured her heart and soul into everything she did. It was only a matter of time before she became the shining example of what a princess should be. Although, she did still manage to get into trouble every now and then. Much to her Uncle's disapproval. But he quickly learned the more freedom he gave Catalina to do her own thing, the better she followed and respected his instructions. Because of this, an understanding was made and Catalina further excelled in her various subjects.

Adolescence • As a fully grown woman, Catalina was given a bit more responsibility and trust than she had been as a child. All of which were tests, naturally, to see whether she could handle the power and responsibility that came with being of royal blood. It was during one of these 'tests' that it was discovered she inherited healing abilities from their High Elven ancestors. This was something that came as a bit of a shock to Catalina at first, but she quickly realised that she could use it to help people and was absolutely thrilled by this discovery.
