Abilities & History
🕷 Even though she isn't the only who was changed by powers, Cora doesn't like to talk about what happened to her. Spider-related origins, naturally, result in spider-related powers: wall-crawling, Spider-Sense, web production, and web-slinging. However, these are a few of the abilities that make Cora special:
🕸 Camouflage - While spiders aren't generally masters of camouflage, most have adapted to fit in with their surroundings. Cora acquired has adapted this incredibly useful ability as her very own. She doesn't just disappear into her surroundings like a normal camouflage works; she completely disappears.
🕸 Refined Wallcrawling - Cora's crawling ability is powerful. She can use her ability through anything she wears, including her shoes. She also can turn it off and on at will, which allows her to grip and throw items weighing in at several tons.
🕸 Venom Blast - This ability enables Cora to channel electric energy from her body through her hands and into a target of her choice.
🕸 Play Dead - Cora, like many spiders, can play dead. This is called tonic immobility, and it slows her heart rate and breathing so that she appears to have passed away. It is mainly used as a last act of defense.
🕸 Web Shooting - While most human spiders need web-fluid and mechanical shooters, Cora is able to make and shoot strong spider-web strings from her fingers. Some people think this is gross, but Cora prefers to think of it as convenient.
🕸 Cora can be extremely shy, which isn't unusual for someone who was bitten by the reclusive wolf spider. She never came up with a name for her alter ego. Other supers call her Bash, short for bashful, and a nod her ability to destroy objects many times her size.

Spider-Dog
🕷 This is Spider-Dog. He was affected by the same spider that bit Cora. His name is Tank, and he's ugly as sin. But, don't tell Cora that. She thinks he's he's her baby. He's 33% Border Collie, 33% Pomeranian, 33% Jumping Spider, and 1% Magic. Although, other than having some extra legs and eyes, he doesn't seem to have any powers. Cora takes him everywhere. He is her official emotional support animal.
🕷 Tank does have powers. He just hasn't shown them in front of Cora yet. Mostly, they're used to steal food. Sometimes, they're used to help Cora. When Cora finds out, she will probably sh*t bricks.
