Appearance

As a Nephilim, Asher looks, for all intents and purposes, human. Albeit an unusually attractive one. With unblemished skin and the type of swimmers build most work towards and fail to achieve. His eyes are an almost golden amber, a trait shared with his dirty blonde hair that seems to turn gold in the sunlight. His most interesting detail, however, is the tattoo on his back and arms. Looking like wings that cover his back and spread over the back of his arms. Making them look unfurled when he lifts his arms up. However, instead of the usual black ink, the winks are tattooed with slightly translucent white pigment. Which seems to change from a stark white against the warm undertones of his skin, to nearly invisible depending on the lighting. The tattoo comes alive under a black light, however, shining a bold glowing blue. However, a single feather near the bottom of his tattoo breaks the mold. Being drawn in black ink instead, and shining a reddish hue under UV lights. When asked, Asher wouldn't be able to say when the tattoo appeared, often followed with a joke that it must have been on a drunken night out and must have cost a fortune.

The truth of the matter was, it was no tattoo, but a representation of his true wings. The one major feature that was passed down from his Angel father. Being only half-divine, he was graced with only a single pair of wings. Pure white in color save for the single black feather. In order to carry his weight, the wings are quite large, easily 20' or 6 m across. As such, they are only ever brought out as needed, as they would otherwise be cumbersome in close quarters.

Ash's clothing style is relatively simple, jeans with a T-shirt or sweat shirt. Sometimes with a jacket and paired with sneakers or boots. On lazy days, he only bothers with making sure the colors work, preferring warm or dark colors. Though other days he might add on some accessories, necklaces, rings, etc. As far as piercings go, he only has a simple silver naval bar piercing.

About Nephilim

The children of angels and mortals, Nephilim can come in as many shapes and sizes as their divine parents. Wings and extra eyes being the most common traits. But anything from more bestial traits to the magical are rare but not unfeasible. The one physical detail all Nephilim share is that their human features tend to resemble the height of human condition. Blemish free skin, straight teeth, symmetrical features, etc. This continues into their biological condition. Being particularly resistant to disease and injury. Even heal particularly fast, though not far beyond what the human body is naturally capable of. They also have an effect on their mortal counterparts, who are often drawn to them knowingly or not, and often explain it as a sense of calm around the Nephilim. Sometimes also noting the smell of flowers and other soothing scents that is often inherited from their angelic parent.
