  • Basic Character Information

    [A proper, full character biography is in the works and will replace this section when completed. For now, below is the least you need to know about Luca.]
    • NYPD detective.
    • Straight and currently single.
    • From ages 6 - 8 was a victim of his mother's Munchausen by proxy syndrome.
    • As a result of the above, lived in foster care for a year until he was released into the custody of his aunt at age 10.
    • Due to his background, he is especially sympathetic/empathetic towards victims or others who have been made ill by a family member/other or have had to live in the foster care system.
    • Has a big Italian family that's chosen to forgive his mother, who only served five years in prison, and from whom he feels a disconnect due to that forgiveness.
    • He is a hypochondriac.
    • Learned how to cook from the aunt who raised him and his siblings after his mother went to prison initially. He enjoys doing so, and will go overboard with it when stressed out. However, he will not eat any of it and so it's usually given away.
    • In general, because of the situation with his mother, he struggles with eating and food, especially when someone else prepares it. If it's ever noticed, he just lies and says he's either not hungry or a picky eater.
    • He grew up in the Catholic church, but has struggled on and off with his faith over the years.

    At this time, I am for the most part* not accepting new stories via this site, as I'm somewhat overwhelmed and need to pace myself. My primary purpose for signing up for RP Repository was and still is to have an easily sharable profile for each of my active characters without having to set up an entirely new account on the main site I am active on (and also for sharing character information more easily over Discord). Additionally, please note that while I will not be sharing explicit or NSFW content via this profile so that I can keep it viewable to all, I am comfortable with those things as long as the other writer is over 18 and also comfortable (I myself am well over 18 in real life). We can discuss the inclusion of this kind of content further when setting up our storyline. I lean towards stories that are darker and emotionally intense, so disturbing themes and unsettling things are welcome, with a few exceptions I'll let you know about when we discuss.

    *I will make exceptions if someone were to message me with an idea they'd like to try with me and it's something I'm really interested in.
