His face betrays no clear age in all of its moon-kissed angles. He appears all at once young and middle-aged. His immortal nature is evident in this quality.

A nocturnal amalgam of a dragon and a unicorn.

Jesper's birthplace is apart of the Midnight Court, the dominion of night overseen by kirin and unicorn alike. He was born there, and will likely die there, if it is up to him.

A Knight of the Duchess's Court.

The Mother Moon.
Devoutly spiritual and superstitious, Jesper divines his power from his Mother.
HEIGHT
6'5" bipedal, 6'9" quadrupedal.
His human-shaped stature is quite tall, and the height of his kirin form, including horns, reaches a height of six feet and nine inches, four inches taller than his human form. Its size, but not shape, can be pictured as similar to a moose.
BUILD
Seemingly has the shoulder-to-hip ratio of an inverted Dorito.
Wide shoulders, narrow hips, long legs, long arms. Not heavily built with muscle but in no way puny, either; his armor hangs off of him well.
EYES
A mood indigo.
They are dark blue and starry, with little pinpoints of silver in them like stars, like cosmos. Are those little points moving, or is that merely an illusion..?
HAIR
Thorny indigo that echoes their eyes in vivid color.
Curly and extremely thick. Peeking up from those messy locks are two back-slanting horns with prongs that ombre from indigo to pale blue, from base to tip respectively, the very ends of them nearly transparent.
SKIN
Soft and pale like moonlight.
Washed out white with flushpoints colored in lavenders and greys, like flowers and shadows.
SCENT
Lilac and musk.
He smells like flowers and the forest, petrichor and animal fur.
VOICE
Smooth and soothing, calm. Monotone without much inflection.

CLOTHING
Armor, and armor, and armor.
When not alone in his private chambers, Jes is always dressed in his dark, decorative armor. Whether or not his helmet is on varies, but he is always prepared and attired for work in a metal shell decorated quite ornately with constellations, nebulaic whorls, stars, and moons. Pauldrons, gauntlets, thick cloaks, the whole nine yards, carefully tailored and made to his size. Off-duty he dresses in simple linen clothes and at formal events in armored finery.
JEWELRY
A simple necklace made of a bit of thread-sized leather.
Hanging from the leather 'chain' is a marble of jasper, given to him by Eden.
OTHER NOTABLE POSSESSIONS
Weapons and books.
A jack of all trades, Jes does not favor one weapon or another and instead enjoys good skill in ranged weapons and blades. His bow is a longbow, his sword a longsword, and the dual daggers he wields are simple dirks. Each are ornate and decorative. His chambers are full of books, stacks sometimes as tall as he is, all fairytales, folktales, and stories of yore.
PERSONALITY
The definition of solemn. Unfriendly and unreacting, his face is commonly an expressionless mask. Extremely contained to the point of suppression, he is the pinnacle of professional guardsmanship.
Calm, rational, careful, constantly assessing for risk. A bit of a worrywart. Humble and doesn't respond appropriately to compliments, clams up and gets very flushed at any recognition directed towards him. Gifts fluster him to no end and he cherishes them deeply. His humor is near nonexistent and when it is, it is very dry. His wit is sharp but he utilizes it primarily to make a point rather than to make a 'funny remark'. Very clear communicator, he has a careful and thoughtful way of speaking that is all at once informative and simple to understand. He can function in any setting, common or highborn, without much trouble at all because of his easy way of speaking.
Unfalteringly loyal, dedicated, and self-sacrificial almost to an unnecessary degree, Jesper takes his job very seriously. It is his life. He doesn't have much else save for books. If asked what he truly desires in life, his answer would be "To do a good job". He knows not how to desire for anything.
