FIRST MAGICAL EXPERIENCE:

At the young age of five Ellie used magic for the first time. She was outside playing and had managed to sneak her way into the neighbor's yard. His dog was a large creature, some sort of mastiff, though her young mind didn't realize this.

All she knew was that the dog was large, jowly and scary. When the dog jumped at her and started barking, El jumped all the way over the fence into her own yard. Her parents, Victor and LeeAnn Castiel were out in the yard gardening. It was a proud moment for them all.

At the age of nine she had shown quite the aptitude for magical abilities. Though little between the years of five to nine happened.
Around nine she started getting deeply drawn into books. One of her favorite stories was the Tale of the Three Brothers.

THE TRIP TO DIAGON ALLEY:
=========================================

The very first stop to be made was of course, the wand shop.

Ellie was extremely excited at the prospect of getting a wand.

As she entered Ollivanders Wand Shop she was greeted by the old man. "Starting at Hogwarts I see." She nodded, dark eyes glittering delightedly. Before she can say anything he continues on, "Let's hope we can find the right wand for you!"

Unsure of what to say, she simply nodded. Apparently the old man wasn't expecting must of a response anyway as he had already started handing her wants. The first she took and gave a bit of a wave. Nothing happened. Taking it back he gave her a new one. This continued for about twenty wants before he gave her a rather short wand of dark wood. Somehow it seems warmer than the other ones and when she waved it white sparks flew from the tip.

She was extremely excited at the prospect of getting a wand. El looked up to see Ollivander's smiling face. "Yew and Dragon heartstring, 13.5 inches. The wand for the unusual magician who in no way is shy and can be both a hero and a culprit." A feeling of relief rushes over her as she'd found the perfect want. It had almost felt like she'd be there for years.
With a grin on her face she exits the shop and makes her way on to the other shops.

THE TRIP ON HOGWARTS EXPRESS:
=========================================

The day had finally came! Ellie waved goodbye to her parents as she boarded the train. When she could no longer see them she decided to find a compartment. There were three different ones with room for her. The first compartment is occupied by a small group of older students, who appear to be about 15 or 16 years old. But there are a couple of extra seats. The second is completely empty, so she'd be sitting by herself, and the third is occupied by two nervous looking girls around her age.

She took the chance to sit with others that were her age, and made her way to the compartment with the other two girls. They welcomed her in warmly. "I'm Maggie" one of them says. She has short black hair and is wearing glasses. "I'm Violet" the other says. She has a long blonde braid and freckles.

Violet is from the pure-blood Burke family, has two older brothers who're starting their 4th and 7th year at Hogwarts. She seems to know a lot about Hogwarts from them.

Maggie is muggle-born. She doesn't know anything about magic or Hogwarts, and is worried about everyone else knowing more about such things than her.

Ellie and Violet attempted to cheer her up by explaining, that there are lots of muggle-born students at Hogwarts. Though she doesn't seem completely convinced she's glad they tried at least.

When the train arrives it's already getting dark. An enormous man, who introduces himself as professor Hagrid leads her and the other first-years into some small boats, which take them across a big lake to a castle, which she assumed to be Hogwarts.

Professor Hagrid leads them to a large entrance hall, where a squat woman with short grey hair greets group of children. "I'm professor Sprout" she says with a smile. "In a few moments you will each be sorted into one of Hogwarts 4 houses. For those who do not know, the houses are Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. You will be sharing your dormitories and taking your classes with your housemates, so the sorting s very important." She leaves the room and El, along with everyone else wondered how they will determine their house.

About 5 minutes later - though it seems like forever - professor Sprout returns and tells all of them to form a line, as she opens a door into a different room.

Walking behind a tall brown-haired boy, Ellie enter the great hall to see the rest of the school sitting at four large tables. They're all watching the line of first-years making it's way to stand in front of the teachers table. Professor Sprout carries a hat, which she puts on a stool in front of everyone.
Everyone looks at the hat and the hat started to sing!

"New students of this great old school,
now put me on - it is the rule!
I will decide where you belong!
And I have never yet been wrong!

In Ravenclaw you may be put,
if you are smart and love the books.
If about facts you're never wrong,
Then Ravenclaw's where you belong!

Gryffindor might be your home.
It's where the bravest people roam.
If you dare what others fear,
You will find friends and equals here.

In Slytherin you will belong,
if you are the cunning one.
If Power matters most to you,
then Slytherin will suit you too.

Finally there's Hufflepuff,
if you play fair and never bluff.

The older students and teachers applaud, as the hat finishes it's song. Professor Sprout stands and reads from a roll of parchment: "When I call your name, you will step forward and put the hat on. You will be called in alphabetical order."

"Burke, Violet" she begins after a while the sorting hat cries out: "Hufflepuff!" "Cadden, Matthew"! this time the hat immediately shouts "Slytherin" and so the process continues until it's Ellie's turn. She steps forward, and put the hat on. The hat mumbles something she can't make out before shouting:
