    Vaeril is of lean build, standing just below average height. He has medium-grey skin with a blueish tone. Delicately lined runic and geometric tattoos decorate his forearms and the back and sides of his neck to his collarbones. He bares some scars from previous adventures, the most noticeable of which hidden behind a simple cotton patch over his left eye. His right eye is untouched, and is a dulled violet colour. His face is thin, nose long and straight. His ears are more pointed than a humans, but less so than a full elf and are pointed more sideways than up. His hair is a snowy white, usually tied back into a half-up style in braids and beads and reaches just past his shoulders. Vaeril dresses practically, in well-worn tunics and plain leather armor, with the accent of a sky blue silk undershirt.

    Vaeril hails from the deep, dangerous Forye Forests amidst a human clan with his mother. He has spent his life in equal parts of training and hunting, and reading. Once he grew old enough, he ventured away from his homeland and began taking odd jobs which swiftly turned into an adventuring career. He has yet to join a guild, or even work with the same group more than once, but he has gained a modest reputation for his skills.
