Seraphine Ward

Voice like an angel's. Heart like a fragile glass flower.

Seraphine (or Sera, as she's called by the people she loves) is a musical theater student, well known and well loved among her fellow artists. She comes from a family of artists; her father is a popular visual artist and her mother is the first violin in the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Being surrounded by art all the time turned her into something of a prodigy; she has been singing and acting ever since she was a child, and majoring in musical theater was almost an obvious step for her.

Her home was not by any means happy. Between her father's explosive tempers and her mother's tendency to run away at the first sign of conflict, Sera was left to fend for herself against a father who couldn't seem to decide whether she was his pride and joy or the bane of his existence. But she found comfort in her friends, two of whom have been around ever since she was a child. Her relationships are often rocky; if the person she is currently with shows no obvious signs of toxicity, her own issues come forth in the form of her tendency to shut the other person out when she isn't doing okay. She has been known to ghost her partners for two whole days when she goes down a spiral, reaching out to them only when she realizes she has been away too long, or when they go looking for her.
