felix belland

felix is an antisocial and erratic runaway who suffers with cotard's syndrome and possibly schizophrenia, though it hasn't been diagnosed. while his personality varies heavily on the people he is surrounded by, he is generally incredibly closed off and quiet. he does not like most people and tries to scare them off with erratic and violent behaviour, threats and even self harm and faked mental breakdowns if all else fails. he is an incredibly difficult person to know as he enjoys his solitude and finds comfort in his self-destructive mannerisms. he does not want help and will never seek it out.

felix has long, straightened, blonde hair, blue eyes that are sunken and bruised, and pale skin with a reddish undertone. he wears lots of black and his style is pretty much grunge. he likes baggy clothing and denim, and he only owns band tees oversized flannels for tops. he also has his battle jacket which he wears pretty much everyday proudly like it's a trophy. to him, it is. for accessories, he is normally seen in necklaces, his handmade bullet belt and studs, and every now and again in his corpse paint.
his skin is covered in scars, his arms and thighs being the most damaged as those are the places where he attacked most, but his back and ribs are also covered in seemingly unhealing bruises which he obtained during childhood. he also has pierced ears, but the earrings always change.

humour :: this depends on who he is with. to strangers or people he simply just doesn't like, there is none. he will sit and stare judgingly. for the people he's close with, it can be extremely morbid and "edgy", he enjoys darker humour and shock value. Iighe is with someone he doesn't dislike but isn't comfortable with, it's mainly just stupid dad jokes and other corny stuff.

character :: his greatest joy is his younger brother. he loves him with everything he's made of and he is his biggest inspiration. his greatest fear would be losing him. his life philosophy is pretty much just, everything happens for a reason. he doesn't care for fighting back and pretty much just accepts whatever happens to him with no second thought.

Self-perception | What does the character consider their best personality trait? He considers his hesitance to let people his best trait as it helps him get a better reading of their character. What does the character consider their worst personality trait? He hates how he finds comfort in self destructive behaviour. What does the character consider their best physical characteristic? His hair. What does the character consider their worst physical characteristic? His scars, he is ashamed of them. How does the character think others perceive them? He doesn't. He hates trying to put himself into other peoples minds. What would the character most like to change about themself? His body, he would erase the cuts.

Relationships with others | Opinion of other people in general? He has none. He sees people as individuals, and while he dislikes many, he doesn't have an opinion on them. Person character most hates? The person who almost killed him. Best friend(s)? He has none, he does not trust any of his bandmates enough to call them a friend. Love interest(s)? He has none, Felix hates romance. Person character goes to for advice? Once again, no one. He likes being independent. Person character feels responsible for or takes care of? Palo. Even though they no longer live together, he still sees him as his responsibility. Person character feels shy or awkward around? Most people. Person character admires? Palo. He is not shy to say that he looks up to his little brother and admires him for his strengths and ability to still seem so happy despite everything thats happened in their lives.

Felix was born on October 30th, 1972, to Anastasia Belland, an at the time Norwegian Film teacher, and Hugo Lindström, a lawyer originally from Sweden. In 1975 on June 3rd, he was given a younger brother named Palo Lindström, who he has never met. His parents were not able to take care of him nor his brother. He bounced around from family members to close friends until at age 4 he was put into fostercare. He was never told what happened to Palo.

His childhood was okay ; not horrendous, but he definitely did envy all of the neighbourhood kids who had close relationships with their families, as his own tended to be neglectful.

God awful transition, but when Felix was 14, and his at the time parents had gone out for the weekend to some resort, he invited a bunch of his friends over for a party, and late in the night when the music got boring, everyone went outside and started play-fighting each other. Things were going fine, until one boy Felix was wrestling around with had accidentally pushed him into the street just as a car was coming by. He got hit, and for a good few minutes he was clinically dead, and even though his body was revived, his mind was kind of stuck. I don't mean like in the vegetable sense, but he was completely convinced he was still dead. He would tell people that he wasn't real, or that he wasn't human, and he'd say he was a monster or a ghost. After a few months of therapy and speakibf with a psychologist, he was diagnosed with cotard's syndrome as well as suspected of schizophrenia as he seemed to have been having hallucinations, but his mother refused any proper testing for it.

As one may expect, Felix, after the accident, had grown very reserved. It was a gradual thing that happened over the course of many months, the cause being bullying over his very obviously declining mental state and questionable behaviour, and, on the opposite end, the new friends he had been making. They were a bunch of edgy teens who found the fact that Felix had died once really cool. They glorified the living hell out of his mental health, and when he had been growing suicidal and violent because of the tournament, they would encourage it, even going as far as buying animals from pet stores and pressuring him into harming them. These peoples names are Augustine, Volk and Jan.

When he was 16, he was moved from Sweden to Norway as Felix. Things weren't any better there, but he learned to shut himself up because they didn't have the money to move again and he felt guilty that he made them in the first place.

Things were decent in Norway, but when Felix, at 17 years old, made the decisions to move out back to Sweden to reconnect with his old friends as he wasn't making any new ones, and to his surprise, he found that they had made a band, and were looking for a lead singer.
