Imbryl Arthion

Imbryl Arthion is something of an oddity. Born to Drow nobility he was raised by the blade and trained to be as ruthless as his father and as cunning as his mother. He had different ideas however, much to their dismay. The young elf was born with an unnaturally cheery disposition and it led to most everyone, including some of his siblings, to avoid any contact with the boy to mitigate any reduction in their reputation. This never seemed to upset him however, and even with almost total isolation his sanguine mood never faded in his years underground.

As the elf boy grew into manhood and came of age, he was sent on his first surface world raid to prove his worth and test his mettle. However, upon seeing the sunlight for the first time and feeling its warmth on his skin something profound struck him. For the first time in nearly a century he felt home. The fresh air and endless sky resonated so deeply within his soul that he could not deny it no matter what he tried. So, as night fell on his first day above the cold caverns of his birth he stole away from his raiding party and fled to carve a new life in the sun.

Through years of hard work, difficult persuasion, and a bit of luck he managed to find a place among the ranks of Drodva’s town guard, covering the night shifts with his heightened senses and natural affinity for the dark. Keeping the peace through simple and kind ways, he helps ease the tensions between the people and the guard, allowing law and order to maintain a positive influence in the city.
