Ophelia Levyn

Ophelia is a young elf with endless dreams and an ethereal glow. People describe her as the sweetest soul, seeing beauty in everything that surrounds her.

Ophelia was said to carry an ethereal beauty with her, a spiritual essence, an airy and celestial touch to the space around her.

Her eyes were a colour of a misty ocean, just as the sun was breaking through and shining upon it, dragging out the layers of the blue depths. They were mesmerising, captivating in a subtle way which could put those who would speak to Ophelia into a trance. They had a wishful gleam, one which was never put out.

Her skin was the colour of a creamy ivory and had the touch of silk. No matter how long she’d spend in the sun her flawless skin would not burn, though maybe she’d return with a warmer pigment. Ophelia had a scar which ran around her left arm up to her shoulder and then across her shoulder blade and down her spine. She doesn’t know where it came from, she has no memory of how it came to be but she embraces the thin scar. She believes it’s a blessing, a unique touch to her body.

Her hair was a luminous pearly blonde colour. It tumbled down her back in calm waves, that intertwined in a controlled yet natural matter. Ophelia would adorn her hair with flowers and stones she’d find pretty. When she walked, the stones in her hair would cling together in a sweet whimsical chime, announcing her presence.

Ophelia had the characteristic pointed ears of an elf, which she’d often tuck her hair behind along side pretty flowers she’d find in the meadows. She carried the soft smell of fresh rain and blooming flowers. A smell the elves would cherish when around her. It brought a sense of peace to them.

Ophelia had a brightening smile, a shy one nevertheless. Her eyes would scrunch up and and her face would beam with happiness, it was contagious. As was her laugh, a full hearted giggle which carried through the wind in a soft melody.

She wore clothes created by the fabricators in the elven kingdom. Iridescent robes that trailed to the ground, which when the light would hit them would shine with a beautiful collection of colours, creating a visible aura. They’d have intricate patterns sewn onto them, ones that linked to nature and the peace of life. They’d have breezy flowing sleeves which were held up by gold jewellery and precious jewels. Ophelia had an elven circlet tiara made of gold and opals that fell down from it in a way which looked like raindrops.

Ophelia was a kindhearted girl with only love to give. She was a dreamer and liked to constantly day dream. She was described to be a blessing to Medora. A sweet blessing of relief for everyone. Ophelia was only the one to calm a tense situation between the elves and she did it in such a natural way you wouldn’t notice until after. Her glow of love was so bright they say it shone as she slept in the night, like the sun recharging before blessing the day with its warm bask of light again. Ophelia always seemed to be in awe of everything that surrounded her, finding something to always be impressed by. She managed to find light in the darkest of shadows.

Ophelia’s true love could only be nature. She was a scavenger elf, she’d go out into the stunning forests in the kingdom and collect natural ingredients for food. Elves swear not to harm or eat animals apart from crows but Ophelia couldn’t even bear to kill a crow, instead she would befriend it. She always came back from her scavenges late after sunset usually with an animal trailing after her. Her best friend was Ruelle, a faun she adopted on one of her scavenges who followed her everywhere and lived with her. Ophelia and Ruella spent all their time in the forest enjoying each moment they’d breathe.

When night came and the sun couldn’t light up the beauty of Medora any longer, Ophelia found the beauty in the night sky. She spent hours staring at the twinkling stars and the shining moon before sleeping. She found there’s a certain peace to the night which the day couldn’t harness although it may try.
