Genevieve Moss

Genevieve Moss is an orphaned faerie. She was born into a second-class family, with her aunt and uncle being first-class since they're nobles in the faerie kingdom. Her parents died when she was around 5 years old. While her aunt and uncle love her and happily took her in, she did not get along well with her cousins.

Her oldest cousin had convinced the younger ones to play a "prank" on Nevi.. one day, when she was almost 15 years old. The oldest pinned Nevi down while the two younger ones jumped onto her back. They gripped her wings and began to tug. It was quite painful for Nevi, and she cried out when she heard and felt the tearing sensation of her wings being ripped off her body. Her aunt and uncle came into the corridor just in time. They stopped their three children from continuing their horrible "prank", immediately took Nevi to the healer, and were able to safely fix her wings! And while Nevi's wings are still in working condition and beautiful as ever, the scars from that night still remain on her back at their base.

After this incident, her aunt and uncle felt it best to send Nevi away to a private school. Being nobles, they could afford to give Nevi any education she wanted. And Nevi decided to channel her rage at the injustice done to her by seeking the best education they could give her, and then joining the academy to become a warrior.

She finished top of her class and was approached by the Faerie King and Queen. They offered her a special task: to be the personal bodyguard of their only child - their son, and the heir to the throne.
