Personality: Jarrios is a kind and jovial soul who is also humble. He greats every man, woman, and child that walks into his tavern with a smile and a friendly gesture. He tries his best to make suggestions, and he’s happy to make small talk.

He’s also knowledgeable and more than eager to dispense information as he hears it. This can include things from the trivial to the ever important. However, he won’t easily sell out the Lance Protectorate, as that’s his primary benefactor.

Despite his friendly attitude, he is not above resorting to violence in order to defend his harm. People getting too rowdy will invoke his wrath. Usually, it’s in the form of the ax that sits firmly behind his tavern.
Appearance: Jarrios is a large imposing minotaur with broad shoulders and a strong physique. He was messy reddish brown fur with white splotches all over his body. Though they aren’t able to be seen easily, his body is covered in scars from his days as a barbarian fighter. His eyes as a golden brown.

Now that he is retired from adventuring, Jarrios looks the part as well. He tends to wear bartender clothes of white and brown. They’re always well kept together and neat (courtesy of his wife).
Backstory: Once, there was a group of adventurers that traveled the land in order to slay a powerful dragon. Their comradery was legendary and their strength was unmatched. They slew the dragon, but along the way several gained something else.

Two of them, Jarrios and Janine, found love. They quickly married after their quest and headed back to their homeland in Inatis. They settled into their life, built a tavern, and welcomed guests from far and wide. Their prestige gained them customers at first, but they seem were flourishing by the taste of their food and drinks as well as their friendly attitude.

It had been twenty years since they started. Now, the two of them were living their best lives. Jarrios Heavyhide has never been prouder of his tavern… of his wife… and of his son.
Powers and Abilities: In his prime, Jarrios was an incredible barbarian warrior. Through his physical training, he possessed immense strength and durability. Despite not wearing any armor, it was said that he could withstand sword strikes with ease. Like many barbarians, he knows how to harness his rage and reflected outward for both offense and defense.

Even in his later age, Jarrios is a force to reckoned with. Even without his prestige, nobody would dare attack his tavern. Everyone knows Jarrios would easily destroy any who would try.

Despite this strength, Jarrios’s age is catching up to him. He doesn’t have the stamina he did in the past. He can only hope that his son can carry the future well.
