Im A.J. Although I'm only 18 I feel like I've lived a lifetime these past 2 years. I used to be a member of the powerless community, 15 years old. Not because I didn't have the money but because I wanted to achieve my dream of being a famous name without powers. I asked no begged my mom to take me to the powerless neighborhoods so I knew who I'm fighting for. Instead I nearly got robbed but was saved by a powerless named Aaron who was around my age. I thanked him but he didn't take kindly to rich people. believing that they control everything to feel superior to those who haven't reached their levels. I explained to him that I was born into it and would throw it away for the powerless community considering I was a member myself. We made an unbreakable bond and decided to achieve the same goal. We studied Mixed Martial Arts to give ourselves a fighting chance but Aaron always went the extra mile. We had a plan for success : Enter E.L.I.T.E, skyrocket the ranks, and become the worlds 1st powerless hero duo. But when the E.L.I.T.E entrance exam came up we were pinned against one another. I did what I had to do achieve step 1 of my dream. I eliminated Aaron and got put into the class system. I ended up in Class 3-Z. It took some getting used to me but the I grew on the team. I helped them achieve new rankings than ever achieved by the classes history. Then there was an old man about to b hit by a hovec delivery vehicle and I saved him. But he wasn't just any old man he was the celestial of creation. He bestowed upon me a gift and a burnen. The Amulet of Pythos. It unlocked my inner ability to move at great speeds but it went against everything I stood for. I had to chart a predetermined path as if my own no longer mattered making me have to accepted the prophecy. Soon after my father decided to finally show his face after years of absence. My anger towards him put my mother I the hospital from my lack of power control. Aaron seeing that I had powers further distanced himself from me. I became depressed and stayed by the hospital bed for what felt like ages until my dad took over for me and I made an effort to give him a chance. but in my absence he became desperate and made a deal with the celestial of destruction. His desperation became his undoing. He gave the Celestial a host and I had to put a stop to it by killing the host. it wasn't easy and I had help but it had to be done. Aaron came and kept me in the fight and helped carry my battle damaged body out of the cave before it collapsed.
