Keriv Yllio Zotoria

Childhood:
Living in poverty Keriv had the chance to grow up with an loving mother. Neither him or his younger siblings had to starve in reason his father having been able to secure a slightly advantageous position in metal work. After the passing of his mother in an accident he took over the emotional care for his younger siblings while partly starting his education in cartography. It was work he could do from home it being the adaptation and changing of maps. While it was not very fulfilling it was work to support the education of his siblings making it possible for them to have an chance in life. Time for friends was sparse and connections most of the time died after some time regularly. The death of his mother and the loss of parts of his childhood were left unhealed. Personal relations came short so he adapted.

Current:
There came a time his family became stable enough so they could support each other so he took the chance to look into different lines of work. He ended up getting headhunted for the promise he showed and started his new education as machinist. Controlling machines powered by magic required finesse and intellect to Invision changes and processes to apply natural movement to create more unnatural changes in the world. Working with these principles he started seeking out more magical knowledge. It being a hard task it made a good distraction from his shortcomings in life, in love and grieve.

Beside copying and adapting maps Keriv received training in the handling of magic core equipment.
This equipment is easier to handle than normal magic in reason of its purposeful designed nature that makes it very intuitive to get a hang on. Mechanical or physical parts that are meant to behave a certain way does follows this behaviour naturally making it extremely efficient in its power consumption. In return this allows to affect the world indirectly in a more unnatural way.
Casting magic itself seems to cast a heavy burden upon him. His attention always divided by the things unhealed and unfinished. So he faces great difficulties in learning and developing his magical attunement.

Aspiration:
To keep his siblings healthy and at the same time running from his inner turmoil he jumps from one challenges into the next one reasoning with himself that his family need to have better chances in live.
