Cassius or Cassidy

A reptilian like creature on two legs, with featured wings and neck plumage, with a thin layer of fur. The ears are Almost bat-like, a wide base, and they get thinner as they go out. Cassius only has four fingers, and has digitigrade legs with four toes. The face has some minor fluff, with some spine-like piercings behind it on both sides of his face. He has a metal band on his left forearm, and an earing on his left ear. He has a tail covered in thin fur like the rest of his body.

Cassius has the ability to swap between genders. All fera can do this. Cas goes by either Cassius or Casidy by people who use his/her real name, but his/her nickname is Cas.

Cas's fera type is Aerofera, and has the ability to manipulate wood. they can create weapons or other objects with it.

Morphogender- Can swap between being male or female whenever at will.

Wood manipulation- Can manipulate wood like a fluid. Can shape and expand it, and even create it if necesarry, but creation takes a large amount of energy.

Cassius/Cassidy was captured into servitude at a young age. He's gone through multiple masters and owners, trained to do as told when told. They take on whatever form they are told to, and if they are free to choose, will swap between male and female every day as they have no prefrence.
Cassius/Cassidy is timid and shy, prefering to be quiet and avoid attention, as they do not want to risk punishment for anything. Because of this, people often think Cassius/Cassidy is ignoring others, when in reality they are just trying to get by.
Cassius/Cassidy currently lives their life wondering if they'll ever be free, and dreams of flying among the sky in freedom, as Aerofera have their wings bound when in captivity. They have never learned to fly because of this.
Cassius/Cassidy fear Aqrabuamelu, as they are the race of people who cause Fera to become servants, including their own tribe. Cassius often hides when Aqrabuamelu are around. (Aqrabuamelu are a race of people who are similar to centaurs, but instead of a horse have a lower body of a scorpian body, stinger included)

Information on the Fera race-
Fera are a race of people of various types. Beast-like people with different abilities depending on where they were born. These creatures are capable of various things, and their looks vary according to where they were born. Some have wings, some have spines and horns, and others may have fins and gills.
They tend to live in groups of just their own kind, as their species has started to dwindle due to other people wanting to capture and enslave them for their skills. It isn’t uncommon for a tribe to start requiring fera’s who reach 16 to be married and have offspring if their tribe starts to dwindle in numbers.
Fera avoid most people who are not of their kind, as they have little reason to trust them so far. Their numbers dwindle due to people hunting them as trophies or even forcing them into servitude. There are rare times when a Fera may interact with other people of different races, but for the most part they avoid them.
Fera are reptilian mainly in look, with features of other types of creatures depending on the their variant. The type of Fera that is born depends on the biome. Each type has features that differentiate them from the others, with abilities that help then survive in their biome. Forest, Wasteland (deserts, swamps, anywhere considered too hostile for others to survive), tundra, beach and/or tropical islands, and volcanos are the biomes Fera call home, some of which merge and therefore two types of fera can be found.

There are five Fera. Aerofera, Necrofera, Cryofera, Aquafera, and Pyrofera. Each have unique features and abilities.
They all have shared abilities as well, such as the ability to change their gender whenever they wish. Fera often don’t pick one gender, so while they might be born as male or female, they can swap or just remain as one until they are assigned a gender through marriage.
Fera follow rituals and use tribe matchmakers to find pairs within their kind. Matchmakers will take information such as the fera’s personality, preferences, what they look for in a partner, etc., things that they can use to find a match. They will assign the pair a gender if they each have a shown preference, or if there is no visible preference they will let the pair decide who will be what.
Fera children age a bit faster than other people. They are adults by the age of 16, but can live for much longer than most other races. The oldest known Fera was 300 years old, but they died due to illness from unhealthy work environment while in captivity.

Aerofera:
Aerofera are Fera’s born in the woodlands and forests. They have wings that they use to travel above the treetops. Tribes live within the trees, often making an entire settlement among the branches and trunks. They are lightweight and a bit on the smaller side, with hollow bones.
They defend their forests with all their might, tribes often working together to fend off hunters, poachers, and other unwelcome guests. They may also help travelers find their way through the woods safely if they deem it safe.
When defending the forest, they tend to hide among the branches, and to the intruders it is as if the forest has come to life, attacking them. Trees will reach out with their branches and crush them, or they will become trapped within the tree itself. When a Fera defends the forest from those who pose a danger to it, they leave no survivors among the enemy. They make sure to note who is and isn’t an enemy among a group before attacking.
Their neck is covered in a plumage of feathers, bodies covered in a thin pelt of fur.
Aerofera will use whatever form they find to help them the most when flying. Their male form is somewhat larger and bulkier, so slower, but they have more power behind their strikes. Females are smaller but more lithe and nimble, making them agile flyers, but not as strong, therefore they rely on swift attacks.
