Touched by Luck - Anais has this special trait where the personification of Luck has touched him. He is completely unaware of this mystic trait. It is how he survived the revolution. It acts up on it's own accord. Maybe a spell directed at him doesn't work, or redirects at the caster. A bullet barely grazes him. He gets on a winning streak in a card game. Regardless it has a mind and will of it's own. Anais has no control of it and will never have control of it even if the trait becomes known

Caucasian skin, practically pale draped over a lithe but fit form of this human male. He is of average height, and carries himself with a weight that indicates he has seen more of life than a man in his early thirties should. Blonde hair, often pulled back in a ponytail. Eyes blue and piercing hang on a stern but handsome face. Often dressed in a white dress shirt, suspenders, black neckerchief, and brown trousers. For out wear he wore a red vest and red coat. A red sash belt was tied dutifully around his waist and in it was tucked a single flintlock pistol. His trousers end where his boots begin.

Born to a noble family he was raised up in the comfort of wealth and influence. He learned how to play the violin, was taught the arts and histories. He learned science and politics. He was trained to be a marksman and how to fence with the blade. A capable horseman and a charmer when the need arises.

Around his twentieth birthday the King turned tyrant. Laws came down to restrict the people, and tax them heavily. An attempt to gain breathing room as outside nations threatened their sovereignty. A year later the war was won and their enemies held off. Though the tyrannical laws didn't cease, but increased. Soon Anais joined the growing resistance force. First it was politically but soon it turned into a full fledged revolution.

Now a former revolutionary, his people's attempt to overthrow a tyrant failed. He lost his status, his wealth, his family. Many of his friends, and his true love now slain. He drifts from place to place in an attempt to find a new home, a place where he can promote his ideals that people need not ruling nobles and tyrants to dictate society, a place where the people have a voice on how they are governed.
