Kentaro was just another meaningless child brought by two prostitutes. He lived with his 2 siblings and 10 half-siblings when their mother was out doing her job, leaving Kentaro and his siblings to wander the streets. Their mother rarely comes home to take care of them, only coming back to greet them whenever she feels like it or travelling. Being aware of his unfortunate situation quite young, he was one of the few siblings that took care of his siblings while his mother was gone. All of them barely had any money to live off of, getting jobs immediately when they turned 15 to support the family. Poor, malnourished and sickly, most companies and offerings declined their applications for most of them.

One of the oldest children and youngest child of multiple hookups with a particular father, Kentaro’s main role in their ever growing family is to take care of the newborn and young. He looks out for all of them, sacrificing his food for them and spending his inheritance and pocket money to take care of them. His older siblings, Kichiro and Kiku, were a lot older than him. He has a lot of memories with them and were the only ones that treated him like a child during his upbringing despite the harshness.

Kichiro and Kiku looked out for Kentaro specifically. Their surrounding half-siblings even noticed that they prefer Kentaro over everyone else due to being born of the same parents.

When he turned 15, Kichiro and Kiku dispatched Kentarō for a job in a nearby fast food restaurant while they were travelling to their mother to convince her to stop her career, or to stop having children if they were not able. After a month of his job, Kentaro met a lone businessman when he was out putting out garbage. The businessman said that he dreamt of competing in the Grand Prix Finals but didn’t have the confidence, connections or skill to do it himself. He met up with him for months as they both shared their thoughts to each other. Kentarō thought that the businessman was an interesting yet pitiful person. In fact, he wasn’t sure if the businessman was considered a person at all. After some thought, Kentarō decided that he would become the figure skater that the businessman idealised to be, becoming a role model for his half-siblings and he knew from the start that he wanted to help people with big goals reach them.

They travelled in and out of Japan, training and performing in skating events for four years until they got to the point that they could enter the competition of their dreams. Kentaro wasn’t as famous as the other skaters or newbies in the competition but he was known for his “delicate” footwork and performances. They both were confident in Kentaro’s ability to perform at that point, grinning widely at their accomplishments. Everything was looking good for them, great even, until the very last round of competition where Kentaro suffered a terrible injury on his left leg that prevented him from skating any longer.

WHoLE:HEaRT was formed after Kentarō lost in the Grand Prix Championship. He decided to stay for a while in China because he didn't know how to face his siblings about his loss. When he was getting groceries, he stumbled upon Hanyao who was badly injured after he was beaten up for losing a rap battle. Kentarō hurriedly rushed him to the nearby hospital and managed to get him into a room. Hanyao heavily distrusts him because he was just an “average foreigner who doesn’t know how to have fun” and much to his displeasure, Kentarō visited him everyday to check up and attempt to have a chat. After a week and Hanyao was near recovery, he snapped at Kentarō and told him he was an underground rapper to drive him away. However, this didn’t drive Kentarō away, intriguing him instead and persisting him to see one of his performances instead. Kentarō persistence didn’t end even when Hanyao was discharged. Eventually, Hanyao gave up when Kentarō started following him everywhere, even managing to get his socials out of him.

From an easy glance, Kentarō carries a gentle aura wherever he goes. Humble, Quiet and Carefree, Kentaro prefers to go with the flow of life without his worries weighing him down, but that is near impossible for him nowadays.

-Gets mistaken for a girl MULTIPLE times. Honestly, he straight-up wouldn’t deny that he’s a girl sometimes

-One time he met Madara and Rei out in the wild in China(separately) and became close enough that they recognise each other when Kentaro became a producer/manager
-Watches Precure for the sake of his siblings. Cure March from Glitter Force is his favourite followed by Cure Heart from Doki Doki Precure
-Out of everyone in ES square, Kentaro gets along with Anzu, Madara, Rei, Nazuna, Souma and HiMERU(surprisingly) the most
-The younger members reminds him of his younger half-siblings and often takes them to cafes in breaks
-OH, on the topic of younger siblings, Kentaro gets dragged by his to roleplay superheroes or Precure or some shit like that. He’s really good at it
