Clarissa Vieri

Clarissa is the youngest daughter of Count Vieri, a nobleman with very little influence or wealth. Though the Vieris enjoyed a few prosperous years during Clarissa's early childhood, a series of unfortunate investments and dealings has all but bankrupted them. Their place in high society has been contentious, only maintained by the social prowess of Clarissa's three older sisters. Clarissa herself struggles to keep up with the rules of propriety and etiquette, and as such tends to avoid high society events. She is instead left to preoccupy herself by wandering aimlessly around the Count's estate, chasing after wide-eyed curiosities with little to no supervision. As the youngest child, she always paled in comparison to her sisters, all of whom are well-liked among nobles and have strong marriage prospects despite the family's destitute status. In contrast, Clarissa's prospects are quite low. As such, she is often forgotten or neglected by other members of the family and is used to being alone for extended periods of time. She is sheltered and naive, with a naturally trusting and curious disposition that often leaves her vulnerable, though she rarely encounters individuals outside of her family, servants, and visitors.
