The Crownless Prince

  • Description

    An elf of remarkable physical beauty whose eyes held a tempest of sorrow and anger. He was slight of build as Elves often are, built like a lean hunting hound with more strength and agility than his body should contain.

    Despite the centuries of degradation his angular face was as striking as ever, only marred by a single scar across the bridge of his nose ruined a face otherwise without flaw. Shimmering soft lips drawn into a scowl.

    His hair was a ebon cascade that shimmered in even the dimmest light. Pointed ears betraying his race to even the careless observer, a small knick marring the middle of his right ear.

    He did not dress to suit his apperance, his black plate armour, clearly of Elvish make bore the fearsome visage of an owl ready to swoop on his prey, and those black gauntlets bore steel talons.

  • Backstory

    Tanúvind was once a crown prince of a powerful Elven nation, resplendant and nearly without rival. But no longer. His nation is dust, destroyed so completely that even history has almost forgotten it, his people scattered to the four winds.

    Now he is a figure of more infamy than acclaim, a prince without a nation, crown or people. The loss and sorrow lays on his shoulders like the weight of mountains, crushing his spirit and leaving him a melancholic shade of squandered glory.

    What reputation he has now is of a legendary swordsman and archer, his blade has fought for tyrants and genteel queens who had the coin to pay him. Resorting to a sort of pensive nihilism to survive, is there any light in this world that can make him recall the radiance within him?

  • Moonsteel

    This blade was wielded by a sucession of legendary Elf heroes. A longsword of seemingly delicate make that was said to be unbreakable. It was surrounded with motes of light and shone faintly in darkness.

    It's blade bore writing of some long forgotten script, the ceremonial scabbard bore a hunting owl and it's crossgaurd resembled cruel talons.
