Tasia Hawthorne grew up in a Dock Town that was on the border between two nations. They never seemed to remember that their town existed when they asked for help, but when it was tax season, they knew exactly where to come knocking. One shining day the tax collectors came from both nations and Tasia had enough. Her friends had this plan to steal ammo from the docked ship while it wasnt guarded and hold it hostage. However that plan went poorly when it started to rain. Her friends got on the ship easily in the dark, but with Tasia's limp she easily got knocked over to the side and undid a rope that was connected to anchor wheel. It spun up and the ship quickly drifted off into the storm with her friends on board. Over the course of a few months adrift, they had to teach themselves how to sail a Naval ship that they accidentally stole.

Eventually they ran out of rations they had on the ship, and got the hang of sailing. Tasia was the one who learned the quickest and it was a damn good thing too; when they managed to dock at an island her friends left. They had stolen a navy ship and knew that if they didn't get away now they would be hunted, because no one would believe that it was an accident. Tasia stayed at that island for a month, tearing off its Royal Seal on the Hull and replacing it with a Wolf and replacing anything naval looking. There was something about keeping the ship that Tasia knew it was what she had to do. Even if it made her a wanted fugitive. There she found Anya and Skully.

Anya had been a hungry kid on the street who had picked up a dagger to get food. They had met by Anya slicing at Tasia's thigh and leaving a pretty bad gash after it was healed. Tasia immediately hired her as her Second. Skully was found in the back alley of the Island Math Academy after being denied entry due to too little tuition. Skully became her statistics expert and risk assessment officer. Most plans that followed through cam from Skully while Anya was more impulse driven and Tasia was more emotionally driven.

Whenever they spot people in need they help them, and any money they get for slaying greedy loan sharks goes back to their desolate home towns to help them survive. Any crew member they pick up is someone willing although the nobles like to spin tales of children being kidnapped, because their home towns also aren't ones to snitch.
