Oswald Killwater

Oswald, though he prefers to be called "Oz," is a quiet individual. He doesn't speak most of the time unless spoken to, and would much rather spend his time tinkering with the tech he finds in the ruins than spend it with people. The only person he's particular close to is his mother-- the current leader of the biggest faction-- and even then he still spends much of his time exploring or tinkering instead. He strongly believes that while machines can't hurt people out of a place of malice, the same can't be said for people.

He's a generally untrusting person, and he comes off somewhat robotic in his own right. He isn't one for displays of emotion, rather keeping them to himself out of a fear of being percieved as weak. He knows that only the strong can lead, and while he doesn't see himself as a fighter, he doesn't want to tarnish his mother's image. If you can get through to him, Oz is a very sensitive person with a lot of deep feelings and emotions. He can be incredibly loyal, and would go to great lengths to ensure the people he cares about are well respected and cared for.

Standing slightly short of average height, Oz has a lean build with a significant amount of muscle from all the machinery parts he has to lift and work with as well as the training his mother puts him through. He has a sandy skin tone that is often tanned much darker with a splatter of freckles that cover his face, shoulders and arms. His features are strong and sharp; heavy brows and slightly downturned lips give the impression that he's always frowning slightly.

His dark brown hair is wavy with a lot of volume, almost giving the appearance of a lion's mane when it's let down. However, whenever he's working it's pulled up into a hasty and often messy ponytail. His eyes are a deep hazel, blending green and brown and appearing one or the other depending on the lighting.
