    The Mark 35 MCS resembles a large spider, with a large abdomen that houses weapons, power generation and storage, life support for the operator and other auxiliary functions, a central section that houses the electric and hydraulic systems for the legs and additional arms on the suit as well as a section on the front that houses the operator. 501 is heavily damaged externally, with large dents, gouges and scratches on the armour as well as one of the legs being bent and one arm missing the elbow downwards, being substituted with a crudely fashioned flamethrower with a fuel tank mounted on the back of the central section and a rubber tube running to it, armoured in some places.
