    Mundane

    Natural Athleticism: Lidi has always been athletic as a child, getting into sports like soccer and volleyball as early as elementary school. As such, she has developed rather strong legs and high endurance, as well as great breath control.

    Perfect Pitch: Hearing sensitive to pitch/frequency changes, particularly in music, that both assists to find proper tuning and balanced harmony and can cause irritation/annoyance where there is discord.

    Detail Oriented: A natural eye for seemingly small or insignificant details, sometimes focused on to near OCD levels, that are retained in the memory and can prove either beneficial or troublesome depending on the situation.

    Abnormal/Supernatural

    Aura Sight: The ability to see a person's emotional or spiritual energy, often in the form of varying colors that emanate from the physical body, and the changes that occur within it based on emotional response, mentality and physical well-being.

    Empath: A person who is highly sensitive and receptive to the emotions of others, often able to detect and read what a person is actually feeling despite how they may be presenting themselves. Lidi is particularly sensitive and uses a combination of her aura sight and receptive ability to read people around her and can detect even minute falsehoods. Though she has managed to train herself to be somewhat selectively receptive, she can still become overwhelmed in highly crowded settings where emotions may run high or predominantly negative/traumatic emotional situations. Her empathic abilities are often stronger in close proximity and strongest through touch.

    Empathic Projection: The ability to psychically project ones emotions outward so that they are felt by others and sometimes influenced by them. Lidi's ability to do this currently varies depending on the how strongly the emotion is felt personally by her but she has self-trained a bit to have a seemingly stable hold on it. She generally will use this ability subtly during her concerts/performances to amplify the emotional impact of the song being performed and thus enhance the experience of the concert-goers. Despite the level of control she currently has, there are times where this ability will fluctuate of its own accord (See Afflictions for details.)

    Afflictions

    Empathic Emotional Flux: In times of stress or rapid emotional response, Lidi's projection ability will fluctuate beyond her usual control and project in strong bursts or waves. These can either be singular or in multiples depending on the situation at the time they occur and will affect others around her, though it generally passes quickly when singular. This can be easily controlled if the emotional response is interrupted or the stress is decreased.

    Dissociative Emotional Response: If Lidi becomes overwhelmed in a high-emotion situation, her mind will disconnect from her emotional center as a self-defense mechanism to protect itself from total overload or insanity. When in this state her face loses all expression, her eyes seem dull and retain a thousand-yard-stare to them, her voice becomes deadpan and her movements become slow or sluggish. Recovery from this state generally involves either retreating into solitude with deep meditation or seeking therapy if it is more difficult to process. The length of dissociation varies depending on the severity of the event that caused it, lasting anywhere from a couple of hours to a week or more. To date, the longest episode of this affliction has been 4 weeks and this has occurred only once.

    Chemical Aphrodisiac Response [Alcohol]: A flaw within the DNA which creates a chemical response within the body that occurs when an element is introduced (typically through ingestion, intravenous injection or dermatological absorption) that, upon absorption, will cause the subject's libido to spike and experience arousal in a manner similar to being given an aphrodisiac. Depending on the amount of the element absorbed that causes this response, the subject's lucidity will vary in levels of awareness of their actions and the ability to control them. Due to a chemistry accident in high school, Lidi was exposed to a gaseous mixture of chemicals that altered her DNA to create this response whenever she drinks alcoholic beverages. This affliction is sometimes amplified by her empathic ability. As such, she tends to avoid booze like the plague. Note: This affliction seems to no longer apply yet the subject still avoids alcohol for reasons unknown.
