    As the nominal head of the Shadehands 'organization', Isand has spread her influence across the seven baronies and beyond. Having clawed her way to the top of the shadow world, she rules the Shadehands with an iron fist (wrapped in velvet intrigue). It could be argued that she wields more power than any one person in the baronies; paradoxically, she remains a mystery to the masses, her name merely a fearful whisper in the shadows.

    Isand is one of the few remaining Brown Elves. She and her two sisters share a love/hate relationship, and she often finds herself at odds with one or the other of them.
