Brief summary~
Asrai's are mermaid like creatures; specifically distant relatives that
adopt a more fairy like body but can grow to a certain age where a
changable form can be achieved to match their desire. In this case;Alma is obsessed with his distant cousin; the mermaid. To the point
where it can do him and others harm.Asrais are known for being only nocturnal as the sunlight alone
can kill them. One ray and they are reduced to small pools of cleanest waters.
But even though they remain in young bodies and live for hundreds of years- Asrais are hunted.Fishermen often pluck the jewels and rare stones that grow from the marrow of their bones.
Others are enchanted, kept as pets so it is natural for an Asrai to grow up fearing man.
Though if any flesh to flesh contact is made; a burn so deep it feels like it forever freezes is left
and will never heal.
Though asrais are shy creatures; Alma is particularly nosey; and if ever he finds something he can digest other than fish
he will pester the host of such food subtly until getting what he wants.
Often his diet consists only of what is in his lakes; fish and reeds. Though oddly... potatoes seem to be a favorite..
Personality~.
Asrai by nature, is extremely shy. Often being in his company for a long period of time can be extremely rare indeed;
despite this, he's a very curious being and even though this shyness continues into his more human form by which
he can venture out to more populated places with his legs; he still is often of conflict; though does ask so many if not
too many questions when he is vaguely settled. He is often mistaken for a woman; which can sometimes affect his mood.
