It's been some time, my old friend.
I really had hoped for the world to spin just a little slower, but it seems the seasons have turned, and I find myself alone most chilled nights. My clients have been few, not that I need the money, but because of this restless loneliness I've found myself in. I walk the streets and meet very few people. It's so strange that none have turned their heads but to greet me in passing and not actually stop me in my tracks to converse in depth.
I suppose it's to be expected however. I am new to this place, but hardly a stranger to how things work. I know I should be patient, but I can't help the anxious pull to new things, and attempt to sink my teeth into new interactions. I'll keep trying, don't worry. I haven't given up just yet. I have made progress at least a little! Stigg has been very good company. He's charming and lets me keep warm against his side. It's all I could ask for, in truth. I hope to find more like him in the future.
