• Description

  Tall, slender, brownish/blond hair usually pulled back into a ponytail, which if his hair is down, sweeps lightly over his shoulder. He's dressed like a woodsman, comfortable brown breeches, boots, and a regular tunic/shirt.
  
  A longbow and quiver of arrows completes his ensemble, as does a pair of daggers tucked into his quiver. He's quick at detecting problems before they arise, a real problem-solver, and likes to nip things in the bud.
  
  His only draw back is being so withdrawn (especially around women) that he doesn't talk much to them. Or let his feelings show until that moment when he can't suppress them anymore and he explodes. He usually loses friends that way, gets drunk, and then maybe flirts with a woman which, when he wakes up, makes him feel worse about himself than before. It's a never-ending cycle.

• Biography

  Nathan grew up in a loving home, with a younger brother and kind, generous parents who owned an important shop. Nathan was a born natural hunter, his brother Ethan was a born natural trapper. Between the two, they helped their father run his shop.
  
  When Nathan was 16 he made friends with a 14 year old wreck named Arien. These two unlikely sorts became fast friends. At 18, Nathan was engaged to be married to a woman. The engagement was broken off horrendously--accusations flying that he was unfaithful for having been seen with another woman--which he had been, but only to help her with some task or other. Not whatever his fiancee had claimed against him. He certainly hadn't slept with anyone! The engagement was called off, though it wasn't until long after that Nathan discovered the one who had been truly unfaithful had been his fiancee--she'd been seeing another guy and had seized the opportunity to blame Nathan.
  
  Now Nathan is wary of women, he prefers to keep them beyond arm's length. However his caring and protective nature makes it difficult for him to not stand up for those who are being downtrodden. This has gotten him into more trouble than he cares to admit. And probably explains his mood swings.
  
  His sense of justice runs strong, however, so don't think he'll let you go after a simple excuse. No. He'll hold you accountable.
