  • Description

    Jerry Jay is a character designed to work in many different kinds of RP settings. In all of them, he is an adult with childish mannerisms and mentality. He loves playing his flute, even if he's not really all that great at it (he can learn and play reasonably simple songs by ear, but he has a limit to how complex it can get). Jerry is always concerned with spreading joy and positivity to the point of being obnoxious. This character is designed to be comic relief.

    In Pokemon settings, he is a Pokemon trainer with a full team of Pokemon who all help him put on his musical show with either backup intruments or special effects. Don't let that fool you, his skills as a trainer are strong, and his flute appears to have a "peculiar" effect on Pokemon (vague for a reason). But is it his flute that does it, or is it something else?

    His normal team: Lucario named Riot, Togekiss named Jette, Beartic named Cola, Wobbuffet named Maraca, Raichu named G-Watt, Vulpix named Roxy

    In non-Pokemon Fantasy setting, he is a kind of Pied Piper who can charm the weak willed with his playing, and even cast moderate magical spells with his playing.

    In Non-Magical Sci-Fi and "Realist" settings, he has no powers and is just a big goofball with a flute.

  • Biography

    Read whichever applies.

    In Pokemon settings, he left his home at age 10 for the typical Pokemon adventure, when he discovered his love of music, and becoming the "very best, like no one ever was" took on a bit of a different meaning for a while. He eventually decided to take up his journey for real this time, out to spread joy and positivity through his love of music and Pokemon.

    In Non-Pokemon Fantasy settings, he's a bit of a drifter attempting to spread hope through the power of his playing. He longs to go on a great adventure to really inspire him in his craft.

    In Non-Magical Scie-Fi and "Realist" settings, he's an internet celebrity (or some appropriate equivalent) going from gig to gig to play his music. A wide-eyed dreamer, he's always looking for the chance to be recognized for his "skills" or to make someone happy with either his flute, his winning personality, or both (if they don't get sick of him first)!
