    Long story short, James has sold his soul to a demon for eternal love. Instead of having one lover, however, James must live a thousand different lifetimes collecting "books" (records of those lifetimes) and falling in love with someone, be it romantic, platonic, familial, etc. He lives in a small pocket universe between lives, and each life he lives gains him a book to add to his library. Once the library is full, he will be free of the demon's contract to finally live eternally with his "love", whoever (or whatever) that may actually be. As such, James does not always "die" within each lifetime, but once he fulfills the requirements, he may suddenly disappear from that universe to return to the pocket dimension. Prepare for angst!

    ¤ IC =/= OOC. What my character says or does may not reflect my own beliefs or attitudes toward you or your character.
    ¤ I prefer quality over quantity. One paragraph of good material is better than a novella of fluff.
    ¤ Communication is key. I am whisper friendly during RP, so please talk with me if there's a problem or if you have an idea to make the RP better. C:
    ¤ Feel free to bug me. Sometimes I get busy with real life, so I may poof from an RP for a few days, or even a few weeks. Just PM me if I don't reply after a while and it'll be a sign for me to remember to tell you why I've suddenly poofed.
    ¤ NPCs add to RP. Depending on the RP, I may insert other characters of mine or other NPCs, for sake of plot and/or entertainment.

    ¤ James is meant for RPs of almost all genres.
    ¤ Swearing, injuries (both permanent and temporary), and romance can be included in most RPs.
    ¤ Speaking of romance, consensual sex is permitted, but if my partner is a minor, it will be fade-to-black. Non-consensual sex must be discussed before-hand and be part of the plot. Thank you!
