• Background

  Born to an adventurer and a blacksmith, Niena grew up around weaponry and tall tales. She is no stranger to travelling and exploring, and is skilled with a bow and various types of daggers and knives. As an elven woman, she is very attuned to nature and knows how to survive. She is trained in hand to hand combat, but she prefers to strike from a distance, as it is safer. She is good with animals and children; she has a motherly persona, and often is teased by her friends for being a 'mother hen' and 'mama bear.'
  
  Unlike many elves, Niena chose not to study magic, and focused on learning and honing other skills useful for adventuring. She can perform some small magics such as starting a fire or summoning a cool breeze; but her true magical talents lie in creating and enhancing. When cooking, building, or forging, Niena infuses whatever she is making with magic. These items become powerful magical tools, much more powerful than if they had been enchanted after their creation. This is a skill she learned from her mother, who was the best blacksmith ever to come from the Forests of Perpetual Rain.
  
  Generaly, Niena infuses her cooking with healing and emotion magic. Her comfort food actually brings comfort, and her curative chicken noodle soup will banish a cold in no time at all.
