  Malachor defies all logic known about his race in that he has a truly kind and loving heart. He strives daily to do what any just and honorable man would, but sometimes his own self loathing gets in the way. His own bitterness with his body can lead him to act judgmental and self-righteous. In a bad mood, he can be solitary and cold...and at his very worse, he can revert back to an evil temper befitting his looks (something he feels extreme guilt about)... But at his core, he is faithful and benevolent. Though conflicted, Malachor will nearly always act with compassion and self-sacrifice.
  
  Quirks:
  Even after spending 3 years on the surface, Malachor still finds it a challenge to fully understand surface society. He is sometimes blissfully unaware of what some would think of as "common knowledge". This can lead to some pretty humorous or embarrassing mistakes when he tries to interact with others.

  Romance and sex are tricky areas for Malachor. Because of his intense self-loathing, Malachor tends to think of sex as something forbidden or taboo. The idea of a romantic or loving encounter is something he sometime dreams of...but highly doubts it would ever happen.
  
  Occupational status:
  Currently a Healer and Herbalist. He was once the former Cleric of a Chapel. His past and current Occupations give him a rather comfortable income, but Malachor tends to spend money frivolously on anything he deems a "good" cause. He has no concept of saving money, or why most surface dwellers are so obsessed by it.
  
  Fighting Style:
  If forced into a fight, Malachor tends to mix both his natural abilities with his Clerical powers, using both to defend himself. He wields only a shield to protect himself and channel his divinity through. He will only use his tentacles in a fight if it is life threatening. He will almost never take the life of another unless it is an irredeemably evil creature. He will also never eat the brain of someone in battle.

• Description

  In Hiding:
  
  Malachor wraps himself in white bandages and covers up in a thick black cloak, the garb of a leper. That way, he can hide his monstrous form and most do not question it. His head is always hidden by the large hood to his black cloak, concealing the face underneath. He tends to hunch over a little, to hide his unnatural height.
  
  Revealed:
  
  Underneath all the bandages and heavy cloak, his illithid form is revealed: a alien octopus-like creature with cold white skin that reflects light more so than normal. He wears a white robe with golden trim underneath, the form fitting robe of a traveling priest. It shows just how tall and lanky he is. Strapped to his back is a shield, crafted to look like an effigy of the sun. Malachor also carries a large monk's satchel with him under his cloak where he carries most of his possessions.
