• Description

  Andres Simons, better known as Flametail, orphan mutt with no pack. A unique creature to be sure, a strange mix of canine, easily recognized by his heterochromatic eyes, strange coloring, not to mention the flame that sprung from his tail, forever lighting his path like a torch.
  
  Physical Desc.
  Anthro
  As a hybrid between two similar species, Flame has traits typical of a canid. Both his eyes are a different color, the right a midnight blue,a sign of the demon that possesses his body, the other the striking gold of his father. Ears are large like that of an African wild dog, as is his scruff, but his jaws and snout as well as his cheek fur are more wolf like. All four paws are large, but not big enough to be ungainly, and his tongue is pink with black splotches.
  Flame's markings resemble that of an African wild dog, the red in shades from fire engine to almost burgundy, his scruff is large, growing into a mid-length Mohawk on top of his head, died any color to meet his fancy. A medium sized white splotch on his chest breaks up the color. While slim, his muscles are clearly defined. Digitigrade paws, the middle pad of each hand and foot splotched with pink, and the claw on that paw is white. Right ear is pierced with 2 industrials, making an x across the brim. He also has a gauge in the left ear, size 0. He sometimes wears glasses, which are black and square, but usually they can be seen hanging from one of the his cargo pockets. His shorts are usually army green or grey in coloring with a deep purple canvas belt holding them up. His backpack is the same hue of purple, a single strap to connect across his chest.

  In dragon form, his scales are a rich red, his belly scales a soft yellow. The flame grows into a fringe reaching down from his shoulder blades to the small of his back, and the tip of the tail. The webbing of his wings is a cool gray, claws matching is anthro form. his ears are elongated, tear drop in shape. His horns are tawny colored,and shaped like those of an elk or deer. His teeth are also larger, set like that of an alligator with a tooth peeking out here or there, although his jaw itself remains dragonlike.

  The form is large, larger even than a wolf, though he still retains his large ears. The mo-hawk disappears , replaced by the fringe of flame, which now reaches from his brow to his tail. his canines are longer than before, as is his chest fur. Flame’s emotions are especially volatile while he is in this form, so it is wise not to anger or upset him.

• Biography

  Born in a small town, Andres spent the majority of his childhood in orphanages and group homes, until the age of seventeen, when he escaped, barely a high school graduate, forced into a life on the street. With his strange coloring, not to mention his flaming tail, he was often shunned, feared because of it and of his shifting ability, from anthro to dragon and feral, and from fully rational to lust filled beast. Unable to find a conventional occupation, he drifted to the less savory side of society, where he found appreciation for his talents, as well as his outward appearance.
  
  A nomad, typically carrying little but his prized plum hued rucksack, filled with his few belongings, and wearing naught but his prized cargo shorts, hanging loose on his hips, proudly displaying his distinctive markings.
  The product of a forbidden union between the daughter of a Wild Dog Chieftain and the son of a ruthless Wolf warlord, the pup barely knew the meaning of pack life. His young parents, desperately in love despite their pack’s multi-generational warfare, escape their respective villages after the pup whose lineage they had struggled to keep secret was born. Clearly not the offspring of his mother’s arranged mate, he was cursed mbaya damu, or bad blood. He had inherited the ears and painted pelt of his mother, but the gift of his father’s shining heterochromatic eyes, coal black fur and jaw structure, not to mention the unique shade of his markings, the usual varied brown shades of his mother’s ancestors substituted with a radiant palette of reds, ranging from vivid scarlet to deep earthy burgundy.
  
  Spending most of his early life as a nomad, there was rarely a time that the pup wasn’t lonely, following his parents from village to village, exiles in the very land that they used to call home. After finally settling in a small trading village, during his tenth summer, a fascination with the occult sciences led him away from the watchful eye of his parents, and under the tutelage of a medicine man and self-taught occult artist.
  Many years were spent with his mentor, mastering the difficult science of transformation; from the ability to change into the form of his long dead ancestor, the quadruped canine, to the almost unseen form of the dragon. With mastery of his changes also came the natural ability to manipulate the elements, in his case, fire.
  
  His first encounter with the lust demon that now occupied his body occurred during his transformation training. During a well-deserved break, he came across a book he had never seen before, an obviously old tome, weighed down with a heavy lock, the front of it resembling a closed eye, as if the book was alive, but sleeping. The spirit living in the book called to him, and Flame couldn’t resist opening it, but for his curiosity he paid a grave price. The lust demon locked in the book, a particularly malevolent spirit, immediately took control of his body, and fought his soul for dominance. His master was forced to look him in the observatory, but as the demon had taken full control, he easily escaped into the darkness, A being of pure midnight flame stalking the alleyways. After almost a week of battling the demon for control of his body, Flame finally came to an accord, for control of his body, Flame must give full govern of his sex drive over to the demon. His tail flame, and ultimately his emotion driven changes were born out of this arrangement. Eventually the demon became a part of his very personality, a dark side that was hidden by his friendly demeanor, and although he could keep the demon’s intentions unseen by the unsuspecting, the midnight flame that possessed him never passed up the chance to take its next prey. He came to call his ferocious need the Lust, a time when his tail flame would explode into a midnight blue, and his body was no longer under his full control. Other physical changes became more prominent as time wore on, his right eye, first a golden hue, eventually, grew from green, to a bright blue, a signal that the demon was always watching from within.
