Childhood: Kai was a very sick child for most of his childhood,he could often be found spending time with his grandmother who is the clan herbalist,and doctor,he would usually be reading books about herbalism, and learning from her, when not learning from her he'd often be found alone in his room separated from everyone due to the orders of his father, he was the first born but he was seen as weak and useless by his father for the majority of his childhood, and rarely acknowledged by him unless his father was coming to belittle and ridicule him.

Childhood Cont.:Chiga and Kai were separated by their father for most of their childhood because the horrid man didn't like the loving bond the two had for each other,one night the brothers met together and ran away tot he sacred forest to camp out under the stars, it'd been over a year since they'd last seen one another and they had missed one another dearly, while laughing and conversing the two were attacked by the guardian of the forest known as "The king of the forest", Chiga faught the huge beast in order to save his brother's life, and while he had sustained some damage he had managed to take down the behemoth at just the age of ten and decapitate it, later turning one of the antlers, into a wearable accessory for his brother Kai, it would become one of Kai's most valuable tools later in life.

Teenage years: Kai while still somewhat ill, was mainly well now and his father figured perhaps his useless son could serve some sort of use, he put him in archery lessons and Kai quickly caught on, becoming a prodigy at the young age of thirteen in archery, he soon learned the skills of crafting as well making his own bows and arrows by hand,Kai was finally happy and felt like he was gaining his father's affection and his acceptance but he soon learned his father's real reason for taking interest in him was to put him on the front lines of archery for a war he was planning, Kai was just a tool for his father's amusement, and being on the front lines meant he'd probably die.

Teenage years/right before adulthood: No matter what actions his father took to try and take him down, Kai just kept adapting on the lines, becoming stronger, and more accurate, soon his skills gained his father's acceptance when his father had finally realized Kai would not be easily killed, while he still endured ridicule and belittlement from his father it was no long as harsh, but yet again his father now had plans for his first born son, whom had appeared to just be a late bloomer.

21 years of age: Kai would finally learn what his father had wanted from him, he wanted Kai to now become the new host of the demon known to the clan simply as "Shinigami", the life long task of trying to gain his father's love and acceptance (things this man did not posses), lead him to agree to become the host of the demon,a few nights before this was to happen he'd over hear his grandmother warning his father that if he were to force Kai to become the host, the demon would overtake the young man's body, and destroy his very soul, leaving nothing left of Kai and the demon to be reborn, little did Kai know his twin brother Chiga had also been listening, and Chiga had devised a plan to save Kai,on the night that Kai was to become the host Chiga had an old friend of his, seal Kai away in a painting, and Chiga beared the burden that should've been Kai's.

Present: Time passed differently inside the painting Kai had been sealed in ten years inside the painting was two hundred int he real world, while Kai's body still aged as if in the real world, Kai would soon grow tired of living inside his prison like confinements, and figure out how to "bond" with them in order to break free, leaving a cursed tattoo on his shoulder, and arm, resembling a cherry blossom tree, over time it may fade, but that is not for certain, but what is known about this is that it weakens Kai's abilities, so he is currently not at his full potential, but none the less he is just glad to be out and happy and free,and reunited with his brother whom now rules over their clan, since the passing of their mother and father.

Archery: Kai was put into archery training at a young age, soon Kai became a Prodigy archer at the age of thirteen, and soon became a master archer, and was widely acknowledged by his clan as such.

Crafting: Kai was taught to craft objects, and weapons by his grandmother, such as arrows, bows, and accessories, as-well as clothing, and making fine silks, and remedies.

Wind: Kai's Primary power from his kitsune orb is the power of wind, he can use this to make his arrows more fast, and more accurate when hunting game.

Herbalism: Kai posses a wide range of knowledge about herbs, and knows what can either kill some one, heal someone, or paralyze someone.

Tea-Making: Kai can make his own tea blends as he was taught by his grandmother as a child, during all the time he was forced to spend inside due to his illnesses, though he is not a master himself unlike his grandmother whom is considered a master of the art, he can still make very fine blends.

Tattooing: Kai can make, and apply tattoos to people should they desire, making his own blends of inks and healing salves to help with the process.
