• Biography

  ▪Once upon a time she was an Irish Belle, her hand desired by many. Until a stranger came ashore one night and begged to stay at her family's manor. A ship captain, alone with no crew. Her family cared for him, and he was quite the gentleman. Ailis found herself quickly smitten by his dark charms. Even though she was no more than a girl of sixteen, she gave herself, body and soul to the man. One long night her family and the gentleman were in the parlor playing cards when she dropped one on the floor. Reaching to pick it up she noticed that her lover had the cloven hooves of a beast... She screamed at the devil, but he cackled, cursed her whoring family and the seed in her womb and vanished.
  The next few months were hard on Ailis. She was banished for losing her virginity to a stranger, and lost the family and titles that came with it. She would travel south, across the narrow sea, towards Italy. Where she slept in old churches, study the way of the Vatican. As Ciaran grew inside her, she would see them. Spirits, demons, some good, some not. They would help her, others harm. Ciaran was two months early, and struggled to live for weeks. He made it, by sheer power of will alone. In the six years that came, she would give herself to the Vatican, train. Ciaran would always be small, but he learned along side his mother the holy ledgers, even though the gave him headaches.
  She would find the bastard who broke her heart, and she would shove that winning card she dropped up his ass.
