  As a child, young Hadeks was a curious and wondrous fellow. All he ever aspired for was creating the family he never had threw any means. He was driven by the world around him. He saw businesses...corporations. He looked at them and where most people found disgust, he saw hope. It was at this early age when he decided that this is how he would do it. This is how he would make his family. By forging his own business, his own kingdom, his own enterprises. . . his own family.
  
  He would have stuck to this plan if not for one fateful day. It was on a school field trip. All of the class was going to some high tech computer laboratory and research center. When no one was looking, Hadeks snuck away from the tour group and went off to explore. What he found shall have forever changed the fate he would have once had.
  
  That's when he saw it. Neural interface headgear, machine and thought, coalescing with each other, working with each other. He didn't get a full look at it before he was caught. The scientist who found he asked if he would like to be a volunteer to test the device. He assured the teacher responsible for him that it was perfectly safe. . . it wasn't.
  
  She wanted to say no but before she could, Hadeks was strapped into the chair with the head set placed on and all the students watching from behind a glass wall. In front of Hadeks was another boy around the same age as him strapped in to the other chair facing him with the other headset. The machine was supposed to allow the two the communicate telepathically, which it did. . . till the machine started smoking. Both Hadeks's limbs and the those of the other boy, Dahks, began to twitch. Something was very wrong.
  
  Quickly, all of the researchers rushed all over the place, trying to fix this. They pulled the 2 children out of the machines and tried to wake them up. Hadeks was dazed but stable. He was lucky. Dahks, however. . . wasn't. He had slipped into a coma with no brain activity. Eventually, the company got sued and shut down. In court, they tried to claim that it was sabotage but no one would listen. They lost both cases and the money went to the two families who had to go threw this ordeal. That money later went into creating the Shadow-Mark Enterprises. The "family from business" that Hadeks had always dreamt of. Little did everyone know though that the mental psyche, all the thoughts, feelings, memories, emotions, goals, dreams the very things that drove Dahks layed dormant within Hadeks.
  
  And there it stayed until the incident. It was a party, a celebration, welcoming in a new member to the family as yet another self made business, started by Hadeks himself, joining the enterprises. It was a very decent party. Food drinks, and a very mighty feast. There was a toast made by Hadeks welcoming the new head of the self ran company, Gonzales, into the family. The glasses were raised and drank but something quite special was added into the Hadeks's drink. He had been drugged.
  
  It didn't take affect till late in the night when the party was finishing up. It caused him to act. . . not himself. The Shadow-Mark Enterprises made pretty much everything from ladders to clothes to weapons to even pet supplies. If you can think it, the Shadow-Mark Enterprises had a generic knock-off brand of it. While he was drugged, he dawned on a trench-like coat with the built-in hooded-mask and padded cloth and carried strapped on the multi-staff, a weapon of his own design, and took the streets.
  
  He woke up the next day, shocked at what he had done. No one could identify the masked vigilante but there has been reports of him being sited near and around the Shadow-Mark Enterprises main building and thus became known as "the true shadow of the Shadow-Mark Enterprises" What happened to him, it felt wrong. With this daze shattering news he was filled a new sense of purpose. This was the moment, this is the very moment where Hadeks fate would be changed forever. He could no longer be Hadeks Marrow. For he had found a new side to himself. A side that would want to stop this kind of thing from ever happening to anyone else and find the person who done this to him and get justice for this new fate that they had dealt him.
  
  

  This is how Shadow-Mark, the first Mark, was born.
