New Versailles has all the standard radio offerings you would expect - a few talk shows, various flavors of music, a bit of static in between. But only a select handful of New Versailles' supernatural residents know that if you dab a drop of blood on the knob of your radio and turn it all the way left, as far as it will go, and keep on turning through the static, eventually a new voice will appear.

"...good evening, listeners. I'm coming to you live tonight from our very own bustling metropolis by the bayou, where the air is moist, the city lights are beautiful, and strange howls echo in the night when the moon is full. Welcome to 00.5, the Voice of Versailles."

The Voice of Versailles is a Night Vale expatriate continuing the proud tradition of spooky towns having spooky radio show hosts. He is an anonymous person of indeterminate age, race, and species. Voice of Versailles is both his psuedonym and the name of his show.

The Voice of Versailles rarely interacts with anyone directly. Instead, his presence is felt through the radio, and in the uncannily specific knowledge he has of the goings on within the city. He primarily communicates through text and the internet, and occasionally takes calls and does interviews on-show. Every listener experiences his voice as their personal idea of what a soothing male voice sounds like.

00.5 VoV runs 24/7 - it is unclear if everything is pre-recorded or if the VoV simply never sleeps. The broadcast is primarily directed at supernaturals, but it also has a loyal cult following among mundanes who believe it to be fiction. News stories range in importance from "the blood moon is rising, bolt your doors if you want to live" to "someone fed a stray cat today, check our facebook for pictures". The station can occasionally be heard broadcasting out of places where you would not expect to hear the radio, like sink faucets and empty tunnels. (It's also available in podcast format.)
