    - Dr. William "Labcoat" Roberts. Don't call him Billy. Definitely don't call him Hillbilly or Billy-Bob.

    - 59 years, 6'4, 220 lbs, no muscle. Pudgy science grandpa.

    - Introverted, scholarly, socially anxious, mildly snooty, frequently grumpy. Confident in familiar situations and when talking (read: lecturing) about a subject he's knowledgeable about, but easily flustered when thrown off-script.

    - Has a PhD in microbiology and immunology. Used to work in lung cancer research, but has recently been forced to switch gears and go into cryptobiology. (When he contracted a particularly virulent strain of lycanthropy, his wealthy parents gave him a blank check and told him to go fix the problem.)

    - Has recently set up a top-of-the-line research facility in New Versailles where he is attempting to develop a treatment, or at the very least a vaccine, for lycanthropy. Seeking lab techs and test subjects.

    - Suffers from an ancient strain of weaponized lycanthropy, thought to have been developed in medieval times as a biological weapon used by feuding sorcerers. This is the strain that spawned the original myth of the savage werewolf. If your character has a keen nose or magic-sense, underneath the smell of coffee and deodorant they will detect something in him that feels dark and sick. This sense waxes and wanes with the moon.

    - Disdains werewolves and werewolf culture. He wants very much to be mundane, and he side-eyes anyone who chooses to embrace a magical lifestyle. Unfortunately, New Versailles' statute of supernatural secrecy means he is required to mainly hire supernatural interns for his research operation.

    - Comes from old southern money, which he dislikes being associated with. Painstakingly affects a generic middle-american accent. Hates yeehaw fried chicken cowboy culture even more than magic culture.

    - Does not like to think of himself as spoiled rich boy, but is nevertheless prone to casual (clueless) displays of wealth. Has no real idea of what it's like to be poor or even middle-class. His idea of a humble bachelor's life includes a lot of restaurant meals and nice clothes tailored for his fridge-like frame. Has the ability (more powerful than magic) to make problems go away with money.

    - Puts on a good show of being a capable adult in public. In private, he eats like shit, never exercises, fails at remembering to feed himself, and would live in a sty if not for his housekeeper. Has terrible personal habits in general.

    - Gay - closeted, not bigoted. Growing up in the 70's/80's in the Bible Belt has made discretion a habit for him.

    - Has a difficult relationship with his elderly parents. He dislikes them, but he's also their favorite son, and he relies on their money. He feels dutiful towards them and tries to avoid upsetting them so he doesn't get cut out of his inheritance. He secretly fears that he will grow up to be like them.

    - Hasn't done recreational drugs since college, but keeps a bottle of Adderall in his desk drawer and would inject coffee directly into his veins if he could.

    - Is a seemingly straight-laced person with a wild past.

    - Artistic liberties will be taken with this character, as this character's player is not a scientist, rich person, or college-goer. If you notice any glaring errors in my posts, I'd appreciate if you pointed them out to me OOCly rather than harping on them ICly. I try to do my research, but I occasionally miss things.

    - Has very little control over his "condition." Transformation occurs on full moon nights and when under extreme stress, and is accompanied by violent rages. Wolf form is a hulking war machine the size of a grizzly bear.

    - Human Will possesses enhanced senses and residual animal instincts that he tries very hard to suppress. Has recently started to suffer from blackouts and sleepwalking. During these episodes, his wolf mind moves to the forefront without a full transformation occurring. Partially transformed Will is less aggressive than fully transformed Will, and it doesn't take much to snap him out of it.

    - Is very diligent about managing his lycanthropy. On full moon nights, Will keeps himself muzzled, sedated, and locked inside a silver-plated steel dog crate until the episode passes. He also keeps horse tranquilizer in his pocket at all times in the event of an unexpected transformation.

    - Will's brand of lycanthropy was engineered for use as a biological weapon; his wolf form is non-sentient and extremely aggressive. It is capable of simple social behavior towards other werewolves, but is mindlessly violent towards everything else.

    - Injuries sustained while in wolf form don't persist through transformation. Will's body always returns to the state it was in prior to transformation. Wolf form is the same blank slate every time. Non-silver foreign objects are ejected from his body when he transforms.

    - Wolf form is very difficult to kill. Fatal injuries cause it to revert to human form, unharmed.

    - Silver burns Will both in and out of wolf form, and he is repelled by the mere presence of wolfsbane.

    - Is contagious while in wolf form.
