  Your name ­­is LUCIEN ARETTE and you are ONE HELL OF A PIRATE. You have been sailing the seas since you first hatched, first on the back of JELLYPARENT and then ACTUAL SHIPS. You are still young for your caste, only 80 SWEEPS, which is great because you have so much time and so many adventures ahead of you!
  
  Jellyparent, unfortunately, did not have many. They were EATEN by those dreaded SUNFISH and you have carried a grudge against those monsters EVER SINCE. God do you hate sunfish. Those bastards can rot in hell. Orcas, on the other hand, you are always friendly towards. A pod of them took you in after that unfortunate incident, and a lot of your nature you owe to their parentage.
  
  You occupy your time by SEARCHING FOR TREASURE, primarily. You've had so many great adventures, too! Battling monsters that could easily swallow you whole, solving puzzles, visiting hard to reach locations only the most courageous of trolls dare to brave... it's what you live for! Truly, this is your calling; following in the steps of your ancestor and living a life and adventure and triumph. What more could a troll wish for?
  
  That isn't to say that you don't enjoy engaging your numerous ENEMIES in battle, though! And you do have many. There's a lot of competition over treasure, some take offense to your cheery nature, and of course, there are always those that would steal what you've rightfully stolen! There's nothing quite like the grating, tearing sound of spikes locking you with the enemy ship, of swinging across on a rope to kick someone in the face, the flash and twirl of your swords expertly tearing another troll to shreds. Not to mention the spoils, and having another crew completely at your mercy.
  
  Of course, this lifestyle involves keeping your body and mind at top form. One misstep, one detail overlooked could be the difference between life and death, and don't you know it. You spend a lot of your down time training your body, researching your next score, or occasionally, reading the CAPTAIN'S LOGS your ancestor left behind. When you aren't doing that, you are often FISHING, and every once in a while, you will take a break and take the time to improve your MEDICAL SKILL. Your crew is not of much use if they are torn to shreds, after all.
  
  Out of all your possessions, your SHIP is the most important thing to you! Not only is it how you get around, it's the same one your ANCESTOR left behind! It took you many sweeps to find it and then dredge it from the deeps, and then you still had to do the repairs, but it was totally worth it! You love this ship more than you love life itself, and your crew sometimes likes to joke that it's actually your matesprit.

  Cheery! It's hard to get Lucien down about everything, and to him, every obstacle is just a challenge just waiting to be overcome!
  
  Lucien can often come across as naive or stupid, but he is actually very intelligent. He has a strict code of honor that he follows, and expects others to adhere to as well. Often impulsive, he makes up for it with his flexibility and ability to improvise in a situation.
  
  Flaws include his acceptance that others will die, while disregarding his own mortality. He does not always treat others as people.

  Lucien is a string bean. Tall and skinny, he doesn't look as strong as he is. Awkwardly tall, he stands at 6'3" and weighs roughly 160 lbs. His skin is light grey, to help him blend in with his originally arctic environment. He often w­ears a fishnet shirt under a heavy leather coat, with pants, heavy leather boots, and a captain's hat.
