They appear human with blue glowing eyes and tattooed skin covering their bodies.
Her otherwise plain face was exaggerated by a square jaw and a sharp nose that lead the observer to her piercing blue eyes. Fair, if slightly tanned, skin blended well with the wisps of dark blonde that were controlled into a high-set fishtail braid, set to drape off one shoulder. She enjoyed a good pair of cat-eye sunglasses, frequently storing them on top of her head for safe-keeping. Her outfit rarely changed: a mix of purples, black, and grays. The most notable, unchanging accessory was a pair black half-gloves. During summer, one might be able to notice faded blue rune tattoos crawling up her arms to her elbows and up her legs to her knees.
HISTORY
Hilde was born near Berlin, one year before the wall coming down. Her father, a Djinn drawn to the ruins and remains of Germany, met and fell in love with a human. Hilde's mother was an Air Force nurse stationed in Germany at the time. From a very young age, Hilde was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. When things are not in her "control", she will begin picking at her own skin (and, subsequently, drinking her own blood to a dangerous extent). Hilde's mother eventually found out what her lover was and moved back to the U.S. in 1990. From there, Hilde had pretty happy childhood, though medicated.
At 13, Hil began to notice a faint blue appearing at the tips of her fingers. Her mother hoped it was just poor circulation. At the ER, the nurse who tended to her fainted when she touched Hil's fingers. The doctor reported feeling dizzy. After this hospital visit, Hilde's mother confessed who and what her father was. From then on, Hil began wearing gloves and sacrificed human touch to protect others from herself. She still does not fully understand her power, nor how to control it.
