    With bright eyes of steely blue, a smiling mouth, and a build reminiscent of an oncoming freight train, this young Siberian tiger might almost be taken for an adult. The lines around his eyes and mouth, however, speak to a very immature optimism, left clear and free for perusal (but for a few loose ringlets of hair) by the thong that binds the rest of the curly, shoulder-length mess behind his head. His clothing is simple and practical (and a little dirty), the sleeves of his royal purple tunic rolled up above his elbows, the sword tucked into the sash around his waist unadorned and utilitarian, the boots on his feet worn, but well cared for.
