  Sekayi is patient and calculating. He is fiercely loyal, but his loyalty is forged by blood. He possesses a quiet confidence that requires no validation and is naturally comfortable with himself and his inner beast. Sekayi is masterful at self-presentation. He can be charismatic when the situation calls for it, but is equally comfortable as a silent sentinel. Though he is physically formidable, he is like a loaded gun: absolutely neutral until the trigger is pulled. Who pulls the trigger?
  
  Sekayi is definitely no push over, but he is at his peak when led by a sharp mind and strong hands. He is not a slave. His (rare) submission is not rooted in the tiresome dynamic of master and mastered. Should he elect to follow, it is a bond of familial flavor, written by the shed of blood and broken by little other than death. If he chooses no one to follow, he tends dominant.
  
  A natural-born werehyena, Sekayi handles his lycanthropy with superb control. With control comes a deep delight in the animal he is. He and his beast are one in the same, and he has exactly no qualms with his animalistic traits or habits. In nature, hyenas eat their prey alive, and he is not above doing the very same.
  
  Sekayi is, if not sexual, a sensual creature. He likes to touch and to be touched. Those wide hands of his have a constant hunger for warmth and for flesh. As a social animal, the sense of touch is an important form of greeting and communication for him. He's accepting of a wide range of individuals, but he does have his preferences. The werehyena is most at ease with men, choosey with his women, and dominant with strangers. He may choose a submissive role when appropriate conditions are met, but regards this as a rare indulgence. His concept of personal space fluctuates depending upon the situation, but with those he knows and trusts, he will enforce few boundaries.

• Description

  Like laughter in the night, a walking shadow. The sweet-nothing, promised whisper of threat broiling beneath his skin. Hundreds of small braids, black like obsidian, fell around his shoulders instead of individual strands of hair. Many of them were decorated by beads or bells, sometimes clattering and chiming softly, and other times silent under unknown suppression. His skin was dark, like rich earth, smooth over all of his muscle and burning with the animal sleeping at his core. Strong cheekbones and soft full lips gave him a striking face, however plain he kept it. His deep brown eyes were fierce and unyielding; a theme that his broad shoulders and large hands served to uphold. Along with the sweet-whisper threat and unnatural heat, the scent of hyena rode on his skin.
