Savannah Shepherd, better known by her hacker name 5h3ph3rd, is one of the best. Living in the digital world, she rarely sees anyone outside the realm of her 1's and 0's. If it's out there, she loves the challenge. A lot can be said of Savannah Shepherd, but if nothing else you should know she's witty and decisive. Of course she's also optimistic, patient and exciting, but in smaller doses and they're often spoiled by habits of being hateful as well. Her wit though, this is what she's most well-liked for. There are many times when friends count on this and her amusing nature whenever they need help. Nobody's perfect of course and Savannah Shepherd has a range of flaws to deal with too. Her deceitful ways and dominating nature cause plenty of grievances on often personal levels. Fortunately her decisive nature assures this isn't the case very often.
Amaliel
An angel cast from heaven to find the child of prophecy. "But if you were human, you might fall in love." They warned her, instead turning her into an owl. With her voice stolen from her, she became a black and silver owl with sparkling silver eyes only the size of a cat.
Amaliel wasn't sure if this was a disgrace or a mission, but regardless she wanted to finish it and return to her rightful place in heaven.
But why was this child so important? What prophecy could warrant the attention of angels and demons alike?
Breanna Werebolt
With the fate of her kind in her claws, she has no choice. At least that's what she tells herself every day as she laps up the bowl of cream her human caretaker leaves in front of her at his shop.
Years before, Breanna had tried to warn the people, first as a Draelca and then as a human, but no one listened to her. They tried to take her head, looking for her treasure, to which she simply shot fire at them. And then they tried to hang her, but she escaped, now posing as a house cat.
Her claws itched, tiny compared to her full form, her heart wishing to soar with her wings. But her mission was certain, so she decided to whisper to the human who took care of her. "If we do not stop hunting dragons and their like, the world will die."
So far, it was working. With the suggestions and rumors, people had slowed their hunting, leaving her people in peace. She has tan fur and darker tan/orange markings. Her eyes are golden and show a tiny bit of her dragon heritage, though no one really notices.
Buckland "Bucks" Leafshatter
Bucks, the bandit of the grasslands. Uncontested leader of the Pironeen. Whether by choice or by fear, there's a charismatic way about him. Though rumors float around of the gender of their leader, Bucks puts a stop to them quite quickly. Human, only standing 4'10 and weighing ninety seven lbs, he's quick with a dagger or his serpent's tongue, they say. Where he came from, no one knows, only the grasslands.
Caliphe Tigermoon
Orange, shaggy hair slightly covers a full, sweet face. Smart golden eyes, set delicately within their sockets, watch guardedly over the country they've defended for so long.
Soft skin charmingly compliments her eyes and cheekbones and leaves a beautiful memory of her luck.
The is the face of Caliphe Tigermoon, a true warden among humans. She flutters among the humans with her tiny frame. Barely the size of a 8oz cup, with glittery wings of orange on her back like a dragonfly.
There's something enticing about her, perhaps it's a feeling of regret or perhaps it's simply her perseverance. But nonetheless, people tend to subtly ignore her, while making up bigger stories about her bravery on the battlefield.
Though small, the orange and black fairy warrior was a force to be reckoned with.
Her weapon is a large, slim, jagged blade made of diamond is held by a grip wrapped in expensive, brown sting ray leather.
A fine, sharp point makes this weapon a perfect choice if you wish to puncture your enemies to death with ruthless speed and precision.
The blade has a broad, curved cross-guard, adding just enough weight to make sure the blade sits firmly in the owner's hand and protecting those same hands as well. The cross-guard has a plain coil on each side, which shows how ordinary this weapon is.
A wide pommel is marked with the sword maker's symbol, a symbol which doesn't prove much.
The blade itself is engraved. Intricate decorational patterns have been carefully etched into the blade, the blade needs no decorations, it only needs to be strong and sharp.
This weapon is used by the royal guard. Worn by the wealthiest among us, but not always the most deserving among us.
Though the weapon itself is only the size of a needle, it still is envied among the smiths and swordmakers in her village.
Caliphe Tigermoon was the star pupil of the fae academy. She outranked most of her class and graduated early, right into the middle of the sixth war between goblins, trolls, and fae. It was only then that she realized, standing over the incinerated body of a goblin, that she didn't want to be here.
"No." Caliphe said, holding her rapier, one of the royal guard, made of diamond and wrapped with brown stingray leather. "No!" She said again as a goblin tore her friend apart beside her, bits of blood and fairy dust coating the ground. Caliphe shook with fear and fled, far from the battle and her own people, deep into the world. She traveled for years, hiding from every battle that came to meet her, avoiding any conflict she could.
It was only when she stumbled upon a desert village of humans did she finally stop running, watching other humans try to steal and plunder. The tide of the battle was going badly for the village. Without intending to, Caliphe used her rusted skills to save them, only realizing afterwards that they were half lings, not humans. From elves, dwarves, and even the occasional troll, they weren't fullbloods. She sat before them, covered in human blood, being cheered by her new home for saving them.
It was then Caliphe stopped running, instead making a stand to protect this village of misfits. Always looking for new additions to the village, any halfling was welcome here, so long as they contributed to the village.
Caellinore
They called her the Gemstone Dragon. Beautiful beyond measure, a rainbow of stones grew on her body, shielding her from harm and cold. But that didn't stop the hunters from coming, relentlessly trying to steal her stones to make their trinkets with.
She cried out in pain every time they managed to get some, but now it was getting relentless. Something had to give. Generally she was peaceful, but with the humans becoming more brazen, Caellinore buried herself deep within the earth, spreading her stones throughout as she went.
In time, her story became a legend, a myth told to children to scare them as their father's mined the stones left behind.
Doomkitten
This adorable, but rare creature is a type of mammal. It's about the size of a tiger, has four legs and a long, ribbon-like tail. Nicknamed doomkittens, they scamper about causing havoc wherever they go. They have a soft, but strong skin covered in thin, soft hairs which is usually either black, light grey or light purple or a combination of these colors. They live in dense forests and are quite rare. They're carnivores and their relatively long fangs are good for hunting prey twice their size. They're crepuscular and rely on their sight and extra sense to get around. They have gorgeous eyes and short, pointy ears. They make sounds ranging from relatively low pitched to fairly high pitched and have a very small range of sounds they make to indicate discoveries, dangers and otherwise communicate with each other. These creatures are aggressive, but they're not keen on defending their personal space. They mate once or twice a year and they mate and bond with a single partner for life. Which, with their fairly long lifespans, isn't too surprising.
Draeko Sau
She was the high priestess of the temple, oldest daughter of the empress, promised to the Gods. But faith did not feed their starving empire. The Gods made it rain until the fields drowned the crops, taking away hope and faith with it.
Draeko was held accountable, a sacrifice they said that would appease the anger of the Gods. She would be reborn, having nine lives as every cat does. But Draeko did not want to die. She had one selfish wish before the fire took the breath from her lungs, to see every noble who sacrificed her, dead.
Now with vengeance in her heart, Draeko awoke to a new body, petite and fairylike, she is a black furred anthropomorphic neko. Her silver eyes hold rage, even while her hands idly twirl daggers she had practiced since she was young.
"I will burn them all." She vowed, covering her head with a cloak, even though no one would recognize her in this new body. No longer the golden eyed, white furred priestess, she accepted this fate. A flaming broadsword is strapped to her back, though she prefers to use her daggers.
Dreamjackal
She's a normal pup with a not so normal ability. She can jump through people's dreams, seeing what they see, even manipulating them for her own means. Though most of the time they see her as a white jackal, the bringer of death.
Evelyn Kekeshire
How awesome is it to be cursed to something so beautiful? IT SUCKS. Evelyn always loved birds, especially myths of phoenixes and rocs. But to be cursed as the bird that catches fire and tears heal? What had she done to deserve this?
Evelyn had been a cheerful youth, just studying in college to be an archeologist when she found a room full of phoenix images and statues. Jade, quartz, topaz, they were made of every precious gem she could think of. If only she hadn't picked one up.
One minute she was holding the topaz statue looking at it, the next she was looking at herself, collapsed on the floor while her wings steadied her. Wait? Wings?
No doctor could figure out what was wrong with her, she just appeared to be asleep. But the bird she had become was here, alive and no one could see her. Except the hunters. Humans with a third eye, able to see past the mundane and see creatures like her.
Now she was on the run, trying to find a way back into her human body before it was too late.
Everamyst Sage
A canine shifter, black furred with vibrant green markings, she's a runner. In the year 2092, humans have been given gifts, some more than others. Everamyst was an experiment, what would happen if they mixed german shepherd DNA with a human before they're born? Splicing DNA, Everamyst became the first of her kind.
But cats were popular, everyone wanted to be a cat. Ears, tails, volunteers everywhere just waiting in line to be the next cutest thing. But Everamyst wasn't a willing volunteer, she didn't want this. Her mother had signed her away, needing the money for her habits.
Everamyst was now a runner for those habits, able to shift between her dark skinned human form and her canine form, they used her to slip the fences and run the border. When would it end? Sadness carried in her green eyes, her black hair dyed with streaks of green as she ran down the street, evading the police yet again.
Fayte
There's plenty to say about Fayte, but the fact she's hateful and conceited is just the tip of the iceberg. To make matters worse she's also ignorant, irrational and insincere, but in an odd way they're balanced by habits of being captivating as well. But focus on her as this is what she's pretty much infamous. There's a great deal of pain left on all sides because of this and her petty nature, which is far from desired, but so be it. Fair is fair though, Fayte isn't completely rotten. She's surprising and sweet for a start, there's at least that to look for and appeal to. Unfortunately her conceited nature is almost ever present and ready to sour the mood.
Piercing silver eyes sit delicately within the her scaled, long skull, which gives the her a menacing looking appearance.
One enormous central horn sit atop her head, just above those wide, warped ears. Several large fan-like skin and bone structures runs down the sides of each of her jaw lines.
Her nose is pointy and has two tiny, oval nostrils and there are horns on her chin. A few large teeth poke out from the side of her mouth and reveal only a fraction of the terror hiding inside.
A long neck runs down from her head and into a snake-like body. The top is covered in small scales and a row of crystal growths runs down her spine.
Her bottom is covered in thick skin and is colored much darker than the rest of her body. Four powerful limbs carry her body and allow the her to stand proud and imposing. Each limb has 6 digits, each of which end in spiny nails seemingly made of bone.
Horrendous wings grow starting from just below her shoulders and end just passed her shoulder blades. The wings are rounded, a specialized layer of skin is all that's visible inside and armor-like scales grow on top of the wing's primary bones.
Her long tail ends in a sharp, arrowhead shaped tip and is covered in the same small scales as her body.
She's cold, calculative and cunning, a true dragon to credit her own kind. -
